Ok so I try and peacock, I do my hair up, I have a geek/cool style. I have thick rim glasses. Skinny trousers and pointed boots. Thats typical for me...

However I do get a lot of responses that people initially think I'm gay or that what I am wearing is gay. To be honest I don't care about looking gay unless its going to damage my game.

I am under the impression that if I was to look gay, maybe I could come under the radar and come across as non threatening to women...

What is better peacocking and looking gay or blending in?????

Peacocking and looking gay for sure is better.

I dress pretty eccentric. My favorite opener in the world is "Does this outfit make me look gay?". It has failed maybe 5% of the time, but you get alot of attention and women will touch you and look you up/down if they are interested.

Easier judge of IOI's in my opinion. Just learn how to deal with AMOG's because they will probably call you out on it.

I sometimes just joke with them and say I wore it because I knew it would impress him, etc. I have gotten one believing he was gay before - it was epic. He was at least playing along with the joke and his value went through the floor after the girls made fun of him too....good times. 8)

I remember a guess speaker on David DeAngelo's Advanced series that talked about something like that. I listen to it audio, so I can't say for sure what he was wearing, but the guy said to the crowd "Some people think that my pants and shrit makes me look gay. That is fine. You are 100% better off coming off as gay then asexual."

Cheers guys.

Yeah I do see it as coming under the radar. I do get a lot of AMOGS coming up to me about it but I am learning to deal with it quickly. I might try that opener if you wouldn't mind :)

I personally go for something much more obvious when I peacock as I like being certain that at some point the girl I'm talking to is gonna comment on it and I can just throw out a line I've been saving. For instance my peacock SPAM is a VERY feminine looking bracelet which I got from a girl I gamed awhile ago. I found it works quite well as when a girl asks about it I can play on the whole "pre-selection" aspect.

Before this I've used anything from bracelets that I've drawn on with a marker to those candy necklaces. Candy necklaces are a GREAT way to peacock actually as you can use them for kino escalation as well (prompting the HB to take a nibble off it while it's still around your neck). Hm. I don't know... be creative! :D

As for what you mentioned in your first post, I pretty much dress that way regularly anyways so I don't really consider it peacocking.

noiss, I sure hope you don't mind but I'm definitely gonna be testing the candy necklace kino this weekend ;) I've been looking for something relatively "different" to wear jewellery wise, and considering the price of some of the stuff for sale in my local area, coupled with the bland designs and the fact that everyone else wears them, it's pretty damn hard to find something as unique (and affordable :P) as those!

I always wear a heart necklace (stole the idea from mystery) alot of girls will open you from it and also alot of girls notice it and ask you about it. I have been told it makes me look gay from having it be very feminine but it definate gets alot of attention. By far the best peacock I have over any bracelet shirt or whole outfit girls really notice accessories thats why I think it works so well.

I'm very curious to see how women are going to react to my necklace. I'll be having different stones on it. tigers eye, jade, rose quartz, amethyst and the centerpiece is going to be a large quartz crystal. Rose quartz symbolizes love and whatnot and pink/purple are feminine colors. so it could be interesting.
