My question is "is dating dead?"
Everything I read is about some kinda close in the first night.
So does any type of follow up actually count as a date? I know there's a buncha stuff on "Day 2's" but is the concept of dating really dead now (paying for her meal, taking her to a movie, etc.)?
Could a guy be creative and not seem like a AFC?
Great question!
One reason that many PUAs avoid calling what we do "dating", is because it's so easy to fall into some cliche interaction (i.e., coffee + awkward conversation). It all depends on what your personal view of "dating" is, but I would certainly call most of my "day 2" meetings as dates (although if I were asked, I'd probably avoid definiing it, and would simply say "we're just having fun and enjoying eachother's company").
It's all the same thing, calling it something different is just a way to avoid her drawing conclusions and making assumptions. DEFINITELY be creative. I occasionally pay for a meal, but it's a special occasion when I do. As such, it means more when I do it.
In my AFC days I would buy flowers for girls all the time. After weeks of this it was not only unappreciated -- it was EXPECTED. Now I do it very rarely, but when I do something like flowers/dinner out/etc... it's always appreciated SO much more and makes the girl feel special.
