You don't have to keep being rude, but begging her to forgive you in any way would be destructive to your goals. Was this "mean" just a little teasing, or did you seriously try to bully this girl out of school or something? Just because you know each other from before, it's hard to give tips not knowing what relationship you had.

Well, if it's just a little teasing, you may have had a little attraction from the beginning? I find that teasing is a really strong indicator of interest, if coming from a girl. So if that's the case too, it's good. If she took it a bit badly, well, might be a little harder to get the attraction going, since she sees you as a moron. Still far from impossible though

On finding things to say, I would give you the advice to look around the forum here and read about PU, to get the feel for the general attitude you would like to convey. Sure, you could learn a few cool lines to say to her.. and that would work.. if the conversation doesn't last longer than a few sentences . So in the case of having scripted lines to use, you'll probably spoil 'em anyway, since you don't know what to say for the rest of the conversation or how to say it. Therefore, I have to say, work INNER GAME.

Great for you . I hardly use any scrpited material, except for some opener sometime, and maybe the cube if I feel like I can't come up with anything on the spot. To be genuinely interesting and internalize it as a personality trait is soooo much more effective than anything else.
