There was a girl ( HB 9.5) who I had about 10 mutual friends with. Not friends but people I know.
I opened with:

hey, u showed up on my friends list...but your the girl who works at ____ , and you wrapped the wrong items for my friends bday gift...if it's you i'll try my best to get you fired :)



SHE RESPONDS WITH:

"no sorry its not me :P
i don't work there"



I am usually okay, but that opener seemed to be okay..BUT WHAT DO I RESPOND WITH...PLEASE GUYS THIS IS IMPORTANT

Frankly I'm really not sure what other response you were expecting.

But you could playfully say "Well... that's going to make it a lot harder to get you fired! Hi my name's ____"

You also could say something like
And I explicitly told the manager to wait for my reply before fire you since I wasn't sure either!! :roll:

Did you already found a new job, bla bla bla :?:
