We dont need a picture everyday lol

How about a picture every sunday so the changes will appear more drastic? If you look at a picture of the day before you might not be as inspired because it dosent look like much of a change.

I wish I had seen this post earlier, but this is the first time I'm reading it. I actually just started p90x too, but because I've always had a hard time trying to gain muscle. I've been doing it for over a week now, and I like it so far. But this early on, there aren't any noticeable results. That's okay! I'm keeping the faith, and hopefully the guy who started this tread will let us all know that he didn't give up on doing something to better himself. Shalom.

A week? Your not gonna see results with anything if
youve only done it for a week

Wow, you copied my post and didn't even read it. I said that it's only been a week and I'm not going to see results. So, should I give you a cracker or something, because that sounds like a parrot to me.

I did p90x last summer, quit at the 70 day, cz school started, but the stuff is true and it really works, when they say you will able to triple your push ups and double chin ups, it is totally true

Before p90x I was able to do 5 pull ups, but now I can do around 10 with one arm and around 30 with both

p90x works best for guys who want to get lean like if you are 200 lb and want to be 180lb RIPPED then p90x is for you, like you see in the commercial it was made for in shape (fatty) guys, and after day 90 they are ripped, because all their mass becomes muscle mass, but if you got low fat and you are skinny or lean, do it just for the cardio and fitness overall, but you won't really gain mass (own experience)
My fitness performance got much higher (like I said with the pull ups example) but mass, not at all .... lol

V3nu

The verdict is P90x fits in perfectly with the publics misconceptions about exercise, hence it's easy to market with a few pics.

I recommend reading Body by Science (it's you know, back by research instead of common lore).

fuck ya, BRING IT. p90x grad right here. this exercise and nutrition system is legit. i already finished my 12 weeks, and now i am doing it again. im in the best shape of my life, and just in time to hit the beach. its not hard to keep up with. take it a day at a time and tell yourself its just 1 hour. if you cant find 1 hour to work out then MAKE AN HOUR to work out. its worth it.

Hell ya Dream Body by science is awesome Ive tried everything including P90x high intensity-low duration work the best I prefer max contaction training but any form of HIT will help.

Youll overtrain very quickly on p90x probably quit half way through the second cycle/phase return it and get your money back.

I've read that P90X is good for cutting fat mostly, not bulking up, my father has a copy im thinking of trying it out but I don't know how effective it is going to be. I am pretty healthy, 6'2 156 pounds (a bit underweight for my liking) and I usually eat pretty healthy.

These programs are designed just to give you a routine that can be followed or something that you can learn from visually (hence the videos). Ideally, if you want to lose weight don't simply focus on aspects like cardio because as nice as it is, its difficult to start with long distance running, etc. The best method to losing weight is ironically trying to bulk up, when you do resistance training (exercise with weights) your metabolism stays higher than normal for up to 8 hours after working out - you're still burning fat after working out!

However, the best thing for weight loss is a combination of working out and nutrition. 1 Pound of fat is 3000 calories approx, if you cut down by 500 calories a day for an entire week (you can cheat one day, its never a bad thing to reward yourself for a good week of nutrition and working out) you will drop a pound a week which is a very healthy weight loss, you can even drop more, depending on how much you exercise and what weight you started at.

It doesn't matter what shape you're in. P90X can help you no matter what your body type is. A few of my friends and I all pitched in and bought it together. Some of us are... well, were fat. Others just wanted better bodies. I just wanted to see what muscle looked like on me. It worked for us all. Some say it's easy to do. I found it difficult. But nothing worth a damn ever comes easy, right? Good luck, man. You won't regret it. It will enhance your confidence and then, your game.
