Alright I am new to the game and just started reading the book (about half way through). I never needed to approach girls. I was a good athlete in college and went on to play minor league baseball. Through it all I had a long term girlfriend and while in the minor leagues even though I was faithful to her the girls were there in an instant if I needed them. To make a long story short she asked me to quit baseball and move in with her and I did as any loser would do - quit and moved to be with her. The second I gave into her she decided I didn’t have the value I had before and broke up with me. I had all the signs of one-itis for months. I moved away from her back to my home state but I was miserable. My friends would take me out but I was so terrified to approach a girl and when I did I would go up buy her a drink tell her she was pretty and got shot down. The ultimate crash and burn. That was until my friend (whose engaged and fiancée was reading the The GAME for laughs) gave me the book. As I said I have only read about half but in those short amount of pages I realized I was doing everything wrong. I have not read many posts here and have not finished the book (so I don’t know if this opener was used) but I wanted to share what worked for me last night.

I was out with a friend of mine who is changing jobs to be the manager of the club we went to. It seemed like a good idea because we would not have to wait in line and all our drinks would be free. When we got in there were a few groups of girls I wanted to approach but I waited to long and psyched myself out. Finally a group of four girls came in and one was definitely an HB 10. I gave a quick look but needed another drink so I went to the bar. When I came back there were only three and the other one was talking to a guy close by. I just said fuck and walked up to them and told them my friends and I were having an argument over what was more important to girls looks or personality. Surprising to me they jumped all over it and started talking like crazy. The target seeing that her friends were so engaged came over and wanted to get in on the conversation but I completely ignored her until she finally grabbed my arm and said don’t you care what I think. I used a neg straight from The Game and turned to her friends and said is she always this pushy. It worked like a charm…they started laughing at her and she turned her entire attention on me. Finally I told them I had to go back to my friends and walked away. We went outside to have a smoke and the target followed me out. She introduced herself (IOI) and told me know one had ever treated her like that and as she was about to continue I cut her off completely like the only opinion that mattered in the conversation was mine. I read this board before I left and read a post about an opener about what someone prefers cats or dogs. I am not sure if people reopen a second time (I am new at this) but I never really opened with her so as she was protesting I just cut her off and asked what do you prefer more dogs or cats? Before she could answer I cut her off and just said I can tell you are a dog person by the way you act. Complete bullshit but I figured I could go anyway with it. She was amazed, grabbed my arm (IOI) and asked how I knew. I told her she seemed like she needed affection much like a dog needs and stoked her hair as I said it (she did not pull away) and people tend to act in the same manner as the pets they prefer. Complete bullshit as you all know. Anyway after 10 min I told her I had to go home. She asked why and I told her I had a really cute dog at my house that needed to get walked. I knew she was a dog person and that sealed the deal. All she wanted from that moment on was to meet my dog and go home with me. I apologies for the long post but I am new at this and after all the shit I went through over the last year it was nice to f-close my first target. I am curious to know if anyone else has used a similar opener and found success.

Nice!your scenario sounds like mine im always relying on my looks but lately its been lagging.Ive been reading a couple of chapters from the game and is making me more agressive.Either way nice neg at the right time
