I'd be hesitant to hug and seem too chummy, especially if he came in kinda obnoxiously. If he's showing low value by being loud and off-putting, hugging or being overly friendly will come across as a DLV. Ever been talking to an HB and her DUFF stumbles in, drunk and loud? Yeah, its like that... but looks even worse.

BTW, you didn't add your own AMOG line
