Alrighty, I have a weird problem, that seems to plague me in every social situation I'm in... talking about random shit to people I dont know...

Lets say that I get paired up with a HB7 for a History project. While were sitting at the desk it becomes super akward. I have no F@)$ing idea what to talk about. I cant think of stuff.

This is such a big problem that I can't even talk to my friends now with out running out of things to talk about...

Is this just me or do other people have/had this problem too....

Also, what would you say to the girl for the project (I am in this situation a LOT, i have no idea why...)

Oh ya, and I can't run many of the routines on her because we are in class, and most of them are so out of context with what we are supposed to do...)

I remember in public speaking class, we would sometimes have 1 minutes speeches, you would be given a random topic and you would have to speak for a minute.

I went about 10-15 seconds before I had nothing to say. It sucks, but some people were able to go a minute, not just a minute but were really funny.

But I think its definitely a skill thing. No I can't really just give 1 minute speeches to people and I can only take public speaking so much. But...you can always have a conversation with a stranger...

My game plan (actually i have the same problem of running out of things to say)

I game during the day and night, get #s, and when I'm not gaming call all the numbers if no one answers no big deal, and if they do I'll holding a conversation

thats my humble plan...my advice...just approach and do it

Ask and it is given. Buy it. Youll get more of the things you want in life rather than the things you dont.

Ok, tell me 5 interesting things about yourself.

Dont post them, just write 'em on a piece of paper.

If you had a hard time doing it, thats the problem.

You need to have an interesting life. Go out and do cool things like hiking, drivieng a race car... I dont know, maybe sky diving.

You dont need money or time. You can take some salsa lessons at night, go and join a sports team, or learn another language.

Read and watch better stuff. Stuff that leaves you something, that you can learn from. And most importantly; make a conscious effort to make your interactions with other people better.

Talk with more people and for more time.

Practice is the path to mastery.
