We all know that there are different types of flirting. There is "serious" or "real" flirting which is designed to lead to whatever type of close you have in mind. But there is also "fun" flirting which is flirting for the sheer hell of it, for the fun of it.

Now I'm a guy that enjoys communicating by flirting, not because I mean anything by it, but just because that is the way I find it easiest to connect with chicks. I like to make people feel good about themselves, and a little light flirting is great for that, as long as both sides know that it is "fun" flirting and not actually leading to anything.

My problem is twofold. Firstly I don't want to give chicks the wrong idea, like I said, I like people to feel good about themselves. Leave them better off than when you found them. And secondly, I don't want to get the wrong idea when girls flirt back.

So this is my question. Do you guys have any suggestions on how to tell if a girl is flirting for "real" or for "fun"?
