In this report you'd see examples of breaking LMR through story telling, creating romance out of thin air, not getting affected by lack of response the first time, leading a woman to the dance floor, giving a girl the feeling of being a couple. And anything else that I must have missed but you guys caught.
Last friday evening after a 6am flight and 8 hrs of meeting I left my hotel room in the evening dressed up for this Blacktie event. Never had I thought once that I would not get any sleep until next afternoon. And here is how it all happened:
As I stepped inside the ballroom I was blinded by the glitter and shine of the ppl in the room. Regular ppl who you work with or run into during the week had shed off their tied look and were at their best. The room was filled with some of the most elite and well known ppl in the industry; some ppl you might even know or have read about. Women were dressed to kill and men werent far behind !! The live band playing in the background set the mood right!!
While I was talking to and getting intro. to a lot of ppl I saw HBplayhard2get from the corner of my eye. I saw her looking at items displayed for auction. Since I wasnt sure who she was with or whether she was the daughter of anyone who had any authority over my professional life I didnt want to sexualize the conv. right away or display SOI early.
I walked up a few feet next to her and appeared to look at the items and then when she reached at a picture I opened her with "I dont know whether its the painting or the message this picture is trying to convey but whatever it is it surely is intriguing" (Bad pretentious line I know, but I didnt get anything in my head to say then !! haha)
She acknowledged my comment with a nod and walked away to another item.
(many would have thought this is an IOD, but not me).
We all settled on our respective tables and she was seated 2-3 tables away from mine. After the appetizers some of us were walking around socializing and I noticed the president of one of our global divisions and asked my manager to get me introduced to him. We walked to their table and got me introduced. He took the topic to global eco. but I tried to keep the conv. light using multiple threading. Lets say I was successful in making him and his wife laugh and soon a few others around us and I knew that I was the centre of attraction at their table. I could see HBplayhard2get steal glances at me acknowledging my presence.
After getting back to my table and finishing dinner everyone broke to socialize and dance to band.
This is the pickup part:
I saw her playing with a name card on her table and hence I walked up to her straight.
Marc: You could take that home if you like
HBplayhard2get: excuse me,
Marc: I said you could take that back home if you like it so much, I promise I wouldn’t tell
HBplayhard2get: Oh I was just looking at it.
Marc: Do you know who he is,
(pointing at the name on the card)HBplayhard2get: Not really, he was at our table
Marc: He is (I made up shit, had no idea). And I am Marc
HBplayhard2get: I am (name)
Marc: So did your dad leave you alone here where is he
HBplayhard2get:
Smiles, No I’m here with my friend she works for (whatever)
Marc:
after some fluff It’s a shame to stand here with this wonder band playing behind us.
HBplayhard2get: It sure is
Marc: Do you know how to dance.
I didn’t wait for her answer but took her hand and lead her to the dance floor. Man I love to lead !!!
After some kino, push and pull on the dance floor. I had to be very carefull !! (remember this is not a night club and I know most of the people in here and would know a lot of them when I get promoted (hopefully!!))
Marc: lets walk around and I’ll introduce you to some ppl.
Took her around and got her introduced to groups of people. We were like a couple now !! At one time I met her friend and after a brief chat her friend was on her way talking to others.
I don’t know at what point but I suggested that we head out of the ballroom to the lobby. I don’t know what she said but I had her hand in mine and I lead.
She and I sat down next to a waterfall in the lobby and were talking while the waterfall whispered in our ears. We took a walk in the hotel (bouncing). The hotel had great interiors and ancient sculptures. Perfect for a romantic set up. While walking we stopped to admire the sculptures and painting and I talked about the medieval times, the roman empire and then we got to the conversation of battles fought over women.
Multiple threading and kino lead us to a point where we were talking about the view of the city from the roof top. I told her that I had a room on the x floor and that I was amazed by the view there and that she should have a look at it.
This was the point of yes or no.
I started walking but this time didn’t hold her hand. She followed and I knew "it was on".
We got to my room and I offered her a glass of water and pulled the curtains open. I sat back letting her consume the beautiful view of the city. And then at one point stood right behind her gently running my figures from her shoulder to elbow. A kiss on the neck
AND this is where I HIT LMR
DAMNIT!! Anyways,
HBplayhard2get: I cant do this, we have just met
Marc: I agree, we cant do this (kissed her). Its not right (kissed her), we have just met (looked into her eyes) but have you ever met anyone that right after meeting you felt like you’ve always known them. That the two of you never needed any introduction. The two of you could feel the connection.
I stepped back and away from her
Marc: I once had heard of this story.
And I make up this story of two people meeting and then they getting separated and never being able to meet each other again but always kept thinking of one another every single day of their life.
Anyways I got back to her after the story and kissed her again. And after that had no resistance.
We made love all night long and she was quite the dynamite in bed. She took control after after we got 'comfortable' TMI haha

We cuddled and again made love. It was 11am in the morning and we kept making love while getting in and out of ‘rest ‘ and talking.
I felt some connection And plan to keep in touch with her and visit her soon.
I took my flight back at around 5pm and after landing left a message for this other girl that I met last week.
