So I've known a HB 9 for a while, and I asked her out the other day on facebook, we had some rapport going on so I just said we should get a drink sometime, this was Tuesday night, she said yes, and i said I'd get back to her on the specifics because Im busy this week and don't know when Im free yet.

So I live it a small town, and she lives like 30 mins away, I have no car because Im a student at the same university as her, but its summer. The only decent place we can go for a drink, when it'll be a good SPAM is wednesday night. I havent spoken to her since tuesday, when/how should I arrange the details of the date with her?


I need advice because I usually have a car, so I can just pick them up and drive to a place where theres more fun things to do, but I dont this summer.

Another quick couple questions, i dunno if she has a car, if she does, and offers me a ride home, I should take the offer right? and for future referance is it fine to ask them out, get a yes and then arrange the specifics a couple days later?

Give her a text a couple or 3 days before hand, talk sweetly etc, then pop in the question
"how would u like good food, couple drinks and good company this wednesday?"
It works for me because they start to think maybe it wud be a good time out.

The car thing tell her your side kicks borrowing it this summer to fight crime, this should sort it out and she prob wont bring it up.Meet her there, and if she does call you back, sure go back, but think about how ud get back home.

Thanks man, another concern is, I have mainly dated on campus which is relatively small or had a car, and so I've always picked them up first before heading to a bar, do you think it would be better to go slightly early/late?

I would probably just get there first, buy myself a drink, wait at the bar and then order her a drink when she gets there, tap water or diet coke if shes made the effort , then just find seats together, Im guessing thats how its done, I know this shit is basic or might not matter too much, but I was wana rid out any concerns now rather than possibly create an awkard situation, cheers for any advice.

You can either do two things buddy;
You can go early and DONT wait, be busy, talk to some people, get a good crowd around you or just but into someones for a few seconds until she comes.
When she comes say hi and you get here fine? Then get back to what you were doing (e.g. talking to your new mates etc.
That shows your in control of the situation for the night.


Or you can go later and just mingle again, but i dont usually recomment this.

I mean dont do everything word to word becuase your not a robot mate, but fit it into your style.
Its cool to meet a chick at the date, i have many a time, its not a BIG deal as long as u dont make it one
