Debate all you want these are probably the 3 best movie pickups EVER in my opinion and these are hard to deny. They are smooth, original, and clever!

#1 Top Gun- Bar Scene

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/FlFzBYMAGj8&hl ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/FlFzBYMAGj8&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

This was the original natural good approach right here. Got to love the 80s! I love how she tells him to sit down, and then plays along so well. It's funny. Granted she blows him off a few seconds later in the clip and then he recovers in the bathroom. Still his natural cockyness and his calm charm is smooth.

#2 Hitch - Bar Scene

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/flppG3vU_Uo&hl ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/flppG3vU_Uo&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

This speaks for itself....it's Hitch!

#3 Ten things I hate about you - RIP Heath Ledger

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/w6XGUhzfutc&hl ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/w6XGUhzfutc&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

You got to hand it to him sometimes going all out and making a fool out of yourself can get you the girl! This proves getting the girl to have FUN can get the girl and break all the other rules.

I have to admit there is something to be said for you to have your own writers, makeup artist, consultant, and film crew at your disposal to make things go right!

I don't understand. Why did he lean in during the Hitch video?

Yeah I'd much rather discuss it here than e-mail that guy.

I think it may be because he chose no to be monotonous and lowered his voice a little and leaned in more to be more interesting.

Guys, he leaned in to lower his voice and further grasp her attention. Mystery uses this same kind of concept with inserting pauses in his speech. Besides it's just a movie! :D

I think the hitch pool table scene is alot, better and much more original .... but that material right there was crazy nice for a PUA ... it would be hard to even remotely come close to being that smooth ...

Although interesting from the perspective of being a PUA, I would actually say that Roger Dodger also stands on it's own as also just being a really good film.

Also its not quite as 'smooth' as such, but Before Sunrise is great for looking at the power of rapport building. Its just two people talking yet it is really brilliant. I guess its more for the 'Day Game' thing...

Ofcourse I like #2. I think that was pretty smooth. I need someone who could rescue me like that sometimes.

This one explains it

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/KHIN4jO3hlc&hl ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/KHIN4jO3hlc&hl ... 2=0x4e9e00" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

Can't find the video, but watch the first five minutes of Spread with Ashton Kutcher. It's a really good pick up scene.

Magnolia is a weird movie but Tom Cruise's character (PUA) is brilliant, apparently he's based on Ross Jefferies. 8)

I wasnt to impressed by Tom Cruise in Magnolia. I felt it came on far to strong and thus the whole area of shyer women would be missed out.

However Will Smith is a natural. Watch him an any film and he had the charisma and depth to pull any woman. (Evidence see his wife!) Heath also has propper stage presence and thus is captivating by women.

All in all the key thing that these three guys show here is Confidence. Its the most attractive thing to women(Opinion). They havent crossed the cocky line, they sit just on the "Im good and i know it" not the "You should too" line.

Regards, Saint
