from what I've been reading, I believe maybe observational transition would be a good idea if you directly open?

Eg. You approach a girl directly and say something like

"i know this is completely random but you're cute, and I felt I should say hi"

and after a small bit of chit chat, just say something like

"oh is this your friend?/best friend?" or somethin and do some routine accordingly (best friends routine)

This is how I would map it out for myself, anyone else got ideas?

Delivery is the most important aspect of direct openers. You can say just about anything if you deliver it confidently, a smile (not the sick twisted smile that suggests you have your own machine simliar to George Clooney's from Burn After Reading!).

Remember you probably have limited time as they are there for a purpose, if you get them interested you could go through negs and other routines later over coffee.

Yea like they said, delivery is key, just make sure your keeping that CF vibe and that you transition well, the best friends test would be great. A good direct opener i recommend is:
"Hey, I saw you from a distance and thought you looked like a interesting girl, so i wanted to come by and see what your all about." It's direct and also qualifies her.

If she gives you a piece of shit answer, than just say "oh i guess your not that interesting." and leave, or u can smile and use that as a neg and hopefully work from there.

But if she's interested.. than i'm sure you kno what to do

Almost good effort, but I would possibly leave out the interesting and add something else maybe outgoing, high energy etc.
I mean "interesting" just suggests that you noticed her pocket pee bag from under her skirt or a third nipple through her blouse.

lol yea you can say outgoing, high energy, etc. it doesn't matter. i dunno where you got the pocket pee bag under her skirt from, thats pretty disgusting. if a girl went up to me and thought i was "interesting" i'd be pretty interested of what she had to say.

I was thinking what things would make even Megan Fox slightly *emphasis* unattractive.
