I usually dont write FRs or LRs unless its different from the 100s of posts in here. But I'm writing this one to let someof you know that you can get into really tough sets and be successful if you are confident & add value .

On last weekend I was getting out to sarge and at the subway there was this family. My traget was a 22yr old brunnett with a smiling face and a look that says that she is upto some mischief. Her older brother was 28yrs, looked protective and dad a fire fighter.

She and I locked eyes for 5-7 seconds and she gave me the look "you are out of luck, cant talk to me, what are you going do!" I gave a smile conveying to her "wait and watch"...I'm up for challenge

I went up to the dad and over my shoulder asked him if he has been waiting here for long for his train. He said close to 5 mins. Immediately I asked the mother who was standing next to us and looking at me that it must be wonderful to have the entier family out together. Then she and I got into a chat about how its been long since I have been home and that I and my mom are really close.

So the dad, mother and I started chatting about family and I quickly turned the conversation to how parents miss kids when they are away. Etc etc.. fluff

Next I bring the brother into the conv and started talking about wht he does, whats he passionate about (the guy is a painter), so fluff about painting and some art galleries I had visited. So I had brother, mom and dad in a conv.

I then tell the mom that she has a talented son and ask her what about her daughter, what is she into. My target looks and me with a smile knowing fully well my game and I could tell that she is loving it.

Mom: Oh she goes to NYU for her undergrad major in business
Marc: Thats nice, So your going to be our night in shining armour who would save us from a dying economy.
(everyone laughs)

Target: (laughingly) I'll try.. What do you do.

Marc: on weekends I get out and talk to people in the subway
(everyone laughs).

Marc: (turing to dad). So what do you do.

Dad: I'm a firefighter
Marc: wow !! That is very brave of you I dont know if i'd be able to do that ever.
Mom: yeah he is brave and I get worried for him
Marc: well glad that your son has different interest and your daughter isnt dating a firefighter

(everyone laughs)

Mom: yeah, he scares her dates off.

Then we get into talk about dating and how my parents would worry about my imaginary 2 little sisters and I would be protective about them and concerned about their well being.

After somemore fluff, I chat up the girl, 6-7 IOI's, teasing, pulling her legs a little, building attraction look towards her father and go like. "Sir, your daughter is such a wonderful person, she seems to have the best qualities of the two of you. I'd like to ask her to the game over the weekend, ofcourse if I have your permission" (All this said by giving value to the dad but not exactly in a beta male style).

Dad: Sure, you should ask her.

Did some quick jokes about how I thought he would punch me in the face fluff, she laughed and I number closed her.

All this done in less than 10-15mins, from talking to the dad to getting on the train and getting off at my stop.

BTW, I got off around 3 mins after I got her number, and that wasnt even my stop. I had to take another train to catch up with my friends 30 mins late :) But it was worth it

Nice work taking down 3 fierce obstacles (though I doubt this story is true). You got some balls on you. Have fun drilling daddy's little girl.

PS: Just thought I would give you a little taste of your medicine since you seem to like claiming that my stories aren't true. How does it feel?

Hahaa... Thanks for adding this line. Makes me think of you as a whiny little girl trying the tit-for-tat theory!!! You are better than that, aren't you!

Hey Marc,

you did pretty damned good. I think that this takes approach anxiety onto a new level. Hell I get wound up just making your average approach.
I would have been more worried about the dad's or the 28 year old bro's left hook but what the fuck you did great. Let us know how it all ends up.

Amazing !! Marc you did very well. I like the way that you opened the dad and brought the mother and the brother in the conversation. You gave value to the brother. You did not bring the target in the conversation until the end and won over the parents and the brother, great job dude !!!!

I dont think I would be able to open or approach a set like this. You have style and testicles !!!

This post is inspiring to someone like me who wants to be good with people. Thanks dude, great job !!

I had my second date with this girl today. She is not only hot and cute but also fun and intelligent !! And a good kisser

I asked her what did she first think of me or her family talk about me after I got off the train. I needed wanted some feedback to understand how others feel with my approach and who better to ask. This is how the conv. went if it helps.

Marc: HBcute, so I am curious to know how did your family feel or talk about me later.

HBcute:(Smiles) Why do you want to know.

Marc: Seriously, tell me.. Did you ever have any guy walk up and ask for your number infront of your dad and brother

HBcute: Oh !! neeevveerr they(guys) would run away.

Marc: So what did your dad think.

HBcute: He thought you were a great guy.

Marc: And, Mom

HBcute: She liked you, she thought you were very personable, funny, intelligent and confident. She liked that you were very respectful

My brother was the one who liked you the most. He said you are knowledgable on art. He told me that I should be going out more with guys like you.

Marc: haha., yes he was fun and has a passion in life. Aanndd what did you think when you saw me talking to your parents.

HBcute: I thought you would get your ass kicked. haha... You were fun !

Marc: Fun thats it.

HBcute: yeh! what do you want me to say, I liked you.

So this is where I start off building sexual tention and a little push and pull and then finally we make out..

A girl IMO can never tell why she got attracted to you. She can never point a fingure on anything specific. Its the whole package, is what I have understood by going out with a number of women. So guys dont be afraid to approach tough sets, no one is going to hit you on the head (may be sometimes  ) but generally no one will kill you just because you speak with them.

I remembered this thread the other day.
I had been to the supermarket and done an approach.
Hadn't hooked. I saw one girl around the book section and I position myself strategically so she has to go past me on the way out.
Anyway, she is walking past me and I look over my shoulder casually.
I don't say anything. She says "hi"
I say hi, with grin firmly on face.
Do my opener. ask her if she works in the airport
she says no and carries on walking past to look at other books.

so, I go to the park to chill after all this excitement, when I should have done another 3 approaches in the supermarket. It was full of people.
anyway, to the chase. I am sitting in the park reading a book when boom, my park dream babe walks past(you seen ice age 3- well to give you an idea I was just like the ice age squirrel when he sees his dream squirrel babe)
anyway, she gives me a glance and looks to the floor then her mom and dad walk past. I mean she is perfect for me. She is about the same age and her whole aura is just so cool. anyway, she has come out of nowhere so I was like thrown but planned on talking the next time she walked past. she always walks with her folks around the park. next lap i see her walking on her own and when she gets to my level she huddles next to her mom. i took this as a iod. and asked her old man the time and then left feeling afc. my approach anxiety was at 100% i was shitting bricks.
later had a dream- you know, you are on your death bed, 89 years old and thinking "Goddam, you asshole, why didn't you just talk to her!! You never gonna know what could have happened"
