I couldn't help noticing in DoubleJ's original post the hostile pissed-up woman telling him to 'fuck off', and as much as the AMOG was the main issue, I'd be interested to know how the rest of you would've handled such aggressiveness. No-one wants to be confronted with that sort of shit, so to beat a dignified retreat, or to call her out on it...?

Oh, and please let me know if this counts as a thread hijack or something, and I'll start a new thread somewhere else. I've no interest in stepping on other people's toes.

Cheers!

Glide

*To put something to bed, I do Ju-jitsu now, and if I could relive that moment I still wouldn't of kicked off back, or bother to hit the guy, I just wouldn't dwell on it as long as I did after would.
Fighting is a drastic choice of action with slim benefits, largely because the type of woman attracted to such actions are largely the woman that we learned the skill set to avoid. *

Consider my toes far from stepped on Mr Glide.

It went something like this.

JJ: Hey... (time constraint) (root) (Jealous girlfriend)
Target: Sarcastically said "Blah blah blah" <actually what she said.
Obsticle: (Laghing)
JJ: Wow is she always like this?
Obsticle: (laughing) yeah she is.
Target: Who the fuck are you? (WAYYYY over the top)
JJ: I... *CUT OFF*
Target: Just FUCK OFF!!!

As im sure you can tell, she was a charmer. But what would you do in this situation, there are no wrong answers and any feedback would be great.

hahaha man come on. youre being too hard on yourself. rejection can be a punch in the face at times, but in the end it usually is pretty funny to look back on and laugh at. meeting girls is supposed to be fun, not some sorta science test. in this kinda stuff, youre gonna have to deal with both success and failure. laugh it off man, we've all been through our slumps and high times, and its inevitable

It's interesting to note that the second girl in the set colluded with your neg of the other - I'd kind of presumed that she was emitting hostile vibes too. I doubt I would've continued, but at least the friend being non-hostile allows for an escape hatch. I probably would've turned to the friend and said, "You're right! She really is...", then to the group with a wide grin, "see you around then!". At least you can walk away with some dignity, even if abuse is hurled after you. Clearly one of those highly-strung women who can't take a joke, and is forever on edge for slights.

This is, of couse, not taking the drunk musclehead twat in consideration. Maybe an Atomic Wedgie is called for...

The plus of that night was it give me some scope, i mean no night could go that bad, right? So with the worst night ever out of the way, it left me free to game to my hearts content.

And i'm sure there are guys out there with worse stories and bad nights out. I've Found that it helps to share.

Great attitude there. I've seen many guys with 1-2 years of martial arts think that they can win fights get their asses kicked by brawlers.

I'm into my 7th year of Aikido (judo/ju-jitsu) practicing over 5 hrs a week and I've never been in a fight since. I know I can, I know I have the knowledge for winning about *any* fight but I would risk seriouly hurting the other guy. I'm not at a control level to control him without risk of snapping his neck or arm. What would that solve? I would get sued, have that on my conscience.

Just carying the knowledge in your head that you can do it, having the confidence behind yourself that if a fight comes your way that you can't avoid you will come on top. This alone will make the other guy sense it. Have confidence, don't over react and be on your toes .

Yeah having a wing knowing martial arts or knowing it yourself in are case gives you a feeling of calm, its not about fighting either, its about being able to walk away without chastising yourself later on.

Ill leave fighting in clubs over girls for the meat heads, ill just be nice, smile and let the girls fight for me :D
