So there is this hb9 that i work with. Totally my type as far as attraction goes. I work with her during the day at some shitty summer job. Now I've been working it slow with the flirting. Been talking to her for about a week now, got her number on friday, we were suppose to go to the beach yesterday. I called her at noon and then left her a text. At about 4:30 pm when i was leaving the beach, i texted her and just wrote " your gay", horrible grammar and all. She instantly texted me back saying, " i know....just woke up, brutal." Although she does work till 3 am as a bartender, i still call bullshit. She flaked. She asked how the beach was, i told her that the water was great and that it would of been fun to throw her into the lake. Also, i told her she owed me one and will make it up to me.

So how should i proceed from here? I see her on Monday. Some of my friends think i should just ask her how her weekend was and tell her how fun mine was and just lay back. Not be as aggressive, see if she will chase me? I believe really hot chicks flake once or twice as a sort of defensive mechanism, weed out the guys who aren't persistent or serious, plus she is a bartender so she could be playing hard to get. I don't know where i am at with this chick, usually i don't play it slow but since i work with her, i haven't been as aggressive and straight-forward as i usually am so i don't quite know where i stand yet. That's why i want to hang out with her outside of work, and start working my magic! Advice is appreciated! *** this isn't the only girl i am working on, so i am not being desperate

She purposely stood you up. Then she has the nerve to ask you how the beach was. Don't take that crap from her. You should have asked her what her problem was and showed some assertiveness and put her on the spot and let her know she can't do that to you. you've got nothing to lose by doing so she's already showed she's not playing by your rules.

You can try to act all nonchalant and funny haha about it. It'll just give her futher proof she can disrespect you can get away with it.

Well i told her that she owed me one and that she will make it up to me. I"ll give her one more chance, then i'll cut it loose. But some guys say to not even mention or give her shit for flaking on me, while you're saying i should tell her i won't tolerate that poor behaviour. Which is the right course of action? I see her tomorrow at work. Should i kind of be indifferent and almost ignore her, give her shit for flaking, or act like nothing happened?

Its kinda pointless now to give her shit about it after the fact it her since you've already let it pass. Its up to you but i personally wouldn't waste my energy playing hard to get after she's already showed she going to be difficult
