Have you guys seen Keys to the VIP? And The PUA on VH1? I have seen them both.
Now it looks like for phone number MM(Mystery method) would take you longer than "Natural" + aggressive like they demonstrated on the "Keys to the VIP"...
I saw season 2 episode 12 today and it was just amazing! they had to invent a drinking game involving kissing... they opened and talked for something like 1 min and got kissed!!!! and of course the girls number too!

What is your opinion on this? I have just started to learn the game and I learn the MM but I don't want to learn something that is maybe slower and less easy to learn to achieve and to accomplish. On the keys to the VIP they are doing sometimes "bad" or "forbidden" deeds like buying the girls drinks or compliment hell of a lot on their beauty, but they still get kisses and phone number!!!

What do you guys think?! I'm very confused right now! I thought you can't just go buy drinks, compliment, not saying much and take the number close with success!

Complimenting, drink buying, all valid uses.

The two above examples people avoided like the plague in previous years in an over-reaction to how AFC's used them in a very poor manner.

It depends. I mean the guys on keys to the vip are mostly naturals and they have the confidence, and they can get away with the stuff like complimenting and buying drinks when they go direct because they've already shown interest. If you watch they dont seem needy or unconfident either, like an AFC would, so they dont seem like they're just kissing arse and buying drinks to get the girl to like them.
I think those rules are more like guidelines, more to stop newbies from kissing arse and seeming needy, and to stop girls using them to get free drinks. The MM can also work, some of it seems weird but it can work if you do it right. They're just two different styles. You just have to study all different styles to understand it.

hey, i've only seen Keys to the VIP but i have to say i love the show. I do find some of the things that happend in thw show a little off, but I love the idea and think it would be great practice to go out and try some of the challenges they have. I'm trying to find a wediste where i can watch the other show since i hear its really good too, but until then i'll keep watching my Keys.... and they give fun games to play with your friends.

It's always good to take keys with a pinch of salt because it's main purpose is entertainment. But i think you can pick up on some stuff.

The Australian guy in that episode has amazing confidence, and just goes to show how much confidence can help. I also think he has the perfect amount of cockiness.

Hey guys, i live in southern ontario where the show is filmed and have been at the bar many times while they are filming episodes. Theres alot of stuff behind the scenes that you dont see. First of all, everyone in the club is aware that keys to the VIP is filming via big signs at the entrances and scatters throught the club stating that the show is there filming and that there is a chance they will be on tv. Second of all, all of the bouncers in the club and staff know what guys are doing the show and protect them. Me and my boys were out one night and decided to try and de-Amog the guy on the show and fuck with his game, but the bouncer pulled us aside and said " if you try and pull that shit again, your out" And for the most part, its pretty easy to pick the guy out of the crowd when hes walkin around by himself and the camera is followin him. This leads to alot of girls just going along with the things the guys say to get on the show. Also i know a few girls that were picked up on the show and gave away thier numbers, let me tell ya, they were plastered. So pickin up a drunk chick when everyone in the club knows they might b on tv is a lot easier than they make it seem. However, i do enjoy the show, the contestants do show alot of good and alot of bad things to do at the clubs and you begin to analyze whats happening in each situation and pickin the dos and donts of club game.
What i would really like to see is the four guys who judge get out there and run some game, they seem like they really know thier shit and would lay the mack down hard.

Man, people told me that yeah, there is a big sign at the entrance of the clubs, but says "tv show is filming" not exactly "keys to the vip"
