Here's the setting. Just started a part-time job at a Gap in the local mall. I just graduated college and will be going to grad school in the fall (DHV). I've opened and become friendly (facebook friends as well) with another new co-worker (probably a 7). What should my next move be? I would like to take her out at some point, but don't know the right way to approach her because she's a co-worker. Don't have her phone number yet.

What should I do guys?

Edit: Some more background on her. She's an Indian girl and goes to the local university. She'll be a soph in the fall. Bio major. She seems a little shy.

Maybe invite her to tag along on something you plan on doing after work one day. Drinks with friends or a walk in the park or something. I've put together after work outings with co-workers just to isolate a girl. It can work.

Thanks for replying. I like the idea, the only problem is the scheduling at our store is so sporadic and I haven't seen her in over a week now. Should I show some interest over facebook since I don't have her number? If so, what should I do? I don't know if I've built enough comfort that she'll accept an invitation to walk in park on the spot.

Ah, no set schedules, that sucks, I've been there. I worked in a coffee place and it took me two months to get to the point with this one girl where I felt I could move on her. Got her number, but blew my phone game. I had to be very patient to get there, and was always just chill around her. Maybe somebody else could give you better advice than that, so I'll put this out there, but kind of step away from it. I only really had that long to work this girl because she was very shy/anti-social. Once I built a connection, I went in for it.

I did an office romance thing. My scenario I was stuck in front of the girl for 6 months. The whole time I was fun/semi flirty but never needy which is easier at work since you have things to do. I would tell her about my nights out with other girls, probs with gf at the time. I hung out with her and others from work a few times, eventually we were both single and drunk at the bar and started makin out etc.

Talk to other people too being social around others is a good way to build value and make her feel less intimidated when you talk to her. If there are a few people at your store that are friends get them together and go out for drinks or whatever, notice how I say for you to get them together- think AMOG. Make sure she knows there's an attraction (be calibrated about it) and your not just another nice guy.

I guess my point is keep building comfort, express desire without too much attachment, and when it's time to go it's go time.

I agree with whats been said, but patience isn't always a strong suit. I wish there was a way I could move things along next time I see her or on facebook.
