I have natural game there is no doubt about that but there is one girl who I cannot read whatsoever. There was this girl I used to be really tight with she used to like me and all so she was always chasing me. This was like 3 years ago. She switched schools and got a boyfriend. Boyfriends are just speedbumps in my eyes. I Recently got in contact with her and told her that we should catch up sometime. She seemed very enthusiastic to meet and catch up. I gave her my number she calls me the day of...... and then says she didn't mean to call but, I'm sure that was a lie. Then she started texting me later that day. I called her the next day to arrange a meeting. She didn't pick up so I left a message. She didn't return my message until like 2-3 weeks later. I didn't pick up cause I was working. She said she forgot we were supposed to catch up and that she was a terrible person blah blah blah. I hit her back up later that night called her left a message and left a text. Is she messing with me or what. I'm not gunna call her back because I don't wanna sound desperate and I already left a message. Like why would she call me and then when I call back she doesn't respond? She waited 2-3 weeks to hit me back up! please help me

Yep, this rings a bell.

I used to be tight with this girl I knew a few years ago. Damn, she was so into me it was CLEAR as DAY. I didn't do anything because at the time I was a chode and to be honest, I didn't really fancy her.

Anyhow, fast forward a couple of years. I'm a NEW person. No longer, the chode, I decide to hit her with a text. In my head I'm thinking, this CANNOT fail.

She replied and seemed really HAPPY to hear from me. She mentioned a work leaving do and a party and invited me along. I casually agreed.

What happened I hear you say?

NOTHING. I'll tell you why.

FACT.

In other words, girls/women, are in a state of attraction for a brief time. Otherwise known as 'the window of opportunity or escalation.' If you, don't act within that window, the opportunity closes because she'll think you're too much of a chode to even ask her out.

Looks like she's just trying to appease you (you know how some girls keep flaking because they think you'll eventually get the hint), 2-3 weeks sounds like a 'Let sleeping dogs lie' to me.

Hey thanks man for the response I appreciate it! This is the last thing I'm gunna say about this situation... I just wanna chill with her it's like not talking to one of your friends for a while and wanting to grab a beer or something and catch up. It sucks but whatever I'm gunna lay some pipe 4th of July weekend.

However, you phrase it.

Girls translate, "Hey do you wanna hang out or catch up" as

"How about some dick."

Even MORE so if you're hitting her up after 'x' amount of years. The only time when they DON'T THINK THIS is if you have been messaging them on a regular basis, and you really are friends. - Hence congruency.

I would let this one go unless you enjoy being fucked around.
