Time to wake up people.

Recently I've seen a large number of posts with titles referring to the topic of the recent 'exposure of the PUA community'. Well, I have some shocking news for those of you who are concerned about the ramifications of shows like "The Pickup Artist" and the possible upcoming movie of "The Game", as well as other forms of public spotlight. This is only the beginning of your problems, you are going to exposed more than you can imagine. Your canned lines and structured routines will be widely know and laughed at as time progresses. Here is why.

Obviously, pop-culture was bound to catch on up on notion of a PUA, it was only a matter of time. From the release of "The Game", to our recent exposure, "The Pickup Artist", we all knew this time would come. Some of us however, prepared for it better than others. Everyone is freaking out bitching about how an increasingly large number men and women are discovering our so-called secrets. More and more guys are complaining about being "caught" because they were using canned methods. As time passes, more and more people will find out because even more people will be bringing this topic up in their conversations. Whether it is a girl telling a girl, a guy telling a guy, or a mixture of the two, once people tell people, the number of those who know will only grow exponentially. Example: 1 Person tells 5 people, those 5 people tell 10 more people, those 10 people tell 10 more people and so-on. Your total people who now know doesn't progress linearly, but instead doubles, triples, and quadruples it's number in the same time that was previously taken to spread the word to just a small number of people. This trend will continue until the notion of PUA is standard social knowledge, or close to it.

Is the picture coming into focus yet? I sure hope so. One thing I have constantly been talking about since I joined this community is the fact that we NEED to ditch the "crutches" (routines and canned material), because their lifetime was soon to end. And now, here it is. The time is upon us, especially for anyone who has not progressed to the point of learning what is needed to be done to maximize and develop their natural game. The end of the routine and canned lines is here, whether you like to admit it or not. Are you ready?

Methuselah, I really couldn't agree with you any more bro. It's nice to see something looking at this in a similar way...

The seduction community has been around for a while. I don't know about you, but Usenet wasn't all that private back in the early days of the Internet... Alt.Seduction.Fast was around back then, and so were other communities. I think that the exposure panic is more directed at the canned openers, routines, etc.

Rather then letting all this become me, I like to think of all of this as helping me. Thinking like this makes it more natural, less canned, and more enjoyable!

Since a lot of the concepts and systems I've seen involve understanding basic human behaviors and interaction, I don't think they can ever become old or overly exposed to the point where they're lesser then they once where. That just doesn't sound realistic to me...

I wouldn't be surprised if the people expressing large amounts of anger or fear over this (unreasonable amounts... Not just "ah, it sucks that I can't use my lines anymore!") are beginners (nothing wrong with that), are relying solely on canned stuff (ike you said, it's "crutches"!), or are secretly obsessed with the community and think "wow, a secret society with secret techniques! How flippin' cool is that?!"

And here's something really raw, something I haven't devoted much thought to yet... In fact, it just poped into my head! Has anyone taken into consideration the sterotypes of a pickup artist? I had a talk with a friend about this who knows very little about the "PUA scene" and his reaction was along the lines of "dude none of that stuff works! It's all scams to make money, all those products..." Of course that was just one person. That doesn't make fair results. I just thought it was very interesting.

Can we have a sign on the home-page for every newbie saying "Don't worry about Mystery's show or The Game exposure, read the previous posts about it" so that every new kid doesn't ask us what we think is gonna happen? I am about to rip-off the next kid who posts that topic's index finger so they can't type out the whole sentence and it ends up looking like "Do' wo ao se's sow o e ae expose, ead e peios pos ao i" (that was me typing the same topic without index fingers).

that other people should contribute to

Each day that you log in at the website, observe on the bottom part and it will tell you how many users are now on the site, believe it or not
daily is going up by the near HUNDREDS, imagine that!

Couple of weeks ago it was on 8000
now it's on 9324 (and there will sure be more)
Meaning 1324 between now and then
it was probably about 3 weeks that I think Monkey mentioned there were 8000 people on this site, (I think), so that makes it about 450 new people per week, that's a lot.

That'd get a lot of clicks, it's what they came here looking for. I discovered the community very recently, and since Ireland doesn't have VH1 I may get away with canned routines for a while but eventually it's gonna come crashing down around me unless I evolve. Ultimately, I aspire to Methuselah's level, that threesome report on the beach was fuckin' brilliant. Not a single thing there was a detectable pick-up line.

Dammit, I've got a lot of work to do.

Meth is absolutely,100% right people,the pick up world is becoming known to the common people...and canned material will cease to work.

The future of gaming...is not KNOWING the material and phases to get laid,but rather,FEELING and UNDERSTANDING the principles behind the techniques,and combine you're personality to create you're best self.

For those who are still starting,this might be harsh,but,as it is with everything else in life,you need to start stepping up,and actually take the time,dedication,and persistence to learn the game.

You will fail,suceed,see what works,see what doesn't work.You will get #s,go on fun dates,get lays,and at the same time you will get flaked,have her ready to run away at the slightest fuck up,and you will not score that night.

When you reach the point where you dont even think about what to do next,you have succeeded,and will have the ability to think on you're own.

the idea of exposer though, does have a good side, anyone who is and has been a part of the community make there own routines and ideas and the afc
who see it as a passing fad will fail and prolly leave the idea of becoming one
if he doesnt see immediate gradifacation.

for us though it means we all have to develop our own sets and with our own sets we lose the risk of haveig the same line run on another hb. i know that was stated above, but i thought that this idea should be stressed more. better though is with that you will see hb's sick of the canned lines run on them by afc's and when fresh material or patterns are run on them they will be more receptive,

again i know this has all been posted before but i thought i would condence it into one post so the pos aspect can shine through, at least it makes me feel a little better
