Maybe you should say I'm having a dinner party, or a business associate, my mum, a client, an important guest...

Supermarkets are a great place and so so easy to open with opinions on stuff .. you can even tell most of the time who is single from what's in the basket.

I think the grocery store is a lost cause unless you know how to cook, and I don't mean you know how to make something your mom used to make, you better be able to look at a batch of ingredients and know at least two things to make with them.

The meat/seafood department is probably the best spot, you get an idea what you're working with because

A) meats are usually the last things women get while shopping, short of desert, meaning she's most likely already got all of her other ingredients.
B) You know if you're dealing with a vegetarian, hamburger girl, or filet mignon.

You need to know how to cook because the opener requires looking at her ingredients and asking her if she's making some oddball dish that you know how to make with those ingredients.

If she says yes I don't know what to tell you, crash and burn. But if she says no that leaves the door open for telling her about the dish and telling her you would love to make it for her some time if you can keep her attention.

- Pretend shes an employee, go up to her and as questions about where you can find things, whats the difference, which is healthier, etc. Once I was stocking tofu next to the butter in plain sight and this guy comes up and asks a hb which kind of butter is best for melting onto popcorn; this was right in front of me. They were having a good vibe and the convo was flowing smoothly. Dude I swore this guy was trying to pick her up, but he was just seeking advice, eventually they both asked me and I explained that all butter melts (DUH!!) when you heat it so anything is good. Then he just walks off with his butter, wtf?

- Notice when a desirable women selects a "craving item" ex: chocolate milk/yogurt, box of cookies, ice cream and comment on it, get her to associate the good feeling she gets from the craving item with you.

- Notice when a desirable woman seems to be shopping for a party/picnic/bbq and invite yourself along.

- We have nuts, bananas, melons, weiners, kumquats, catfish, cream, raw meat, cocoa butter, scented candles... just figure something out. U can use these items for openers, ask something about them to a random hot chick, recommend something, asks whats her favorite.

And if you work in a grocery, you will get opened with these quite often.
