Hey guys. I recently joined the gym and there are really hot girls there. Even without makeup and everything these girls are way more attractive than the girls I meet at bars. What are you thoughts on peacocking at the gym? I'm not talking about retarded fuzzy hats and boas. I'm thinking wristbands and Idk, give me some ideas. Thanks guys!

I wouldn't worry about peacocking in a gym. It won't make that much of a difference, just open girls. Also if you're at the gym to get in shape you shouldn't worry too much about this. But if you joined the gym to open girls then just open them, don't let peacocking become an excuse.

Well peacocking at a gym with stuff that gym people wear already won't really make you stand out from the crowd. If you want to try gym game you gotta approach.

Gyms have people doing their own thing and trying to get fit, whilst they are lifting or whatever offer some help or things they could improve so they get a maximum workout.

I reckon some girls may be uncomfrotable talking to a guy while they are hot and sweaty. They may be embarrassed to chat if they are dripping with sweat

for one i would say don't where a wife beat at the gym no matter how jacked you are.. pea cocking isn't that big of a deal at the gym, cause no one there should really be thinking about how they look, because they are there for a pump.
and even if your big don't walk like all those guys you see. the ones that flex there chest and back, and look like there carrying watermelons under there arms on each side. Just walk with confidence but not like too much of a deuchbag. a good way to open is to correct them while there doing an exercise. like
"if you do that a couple more times you just might get a hernia"
or something like that. best of luck

IMPORTANT... if your in the gym you better know somthing..that is basicly a males domain he should know how to do everything there.

Hahaha this is funny because I've seen the video before, and yes, I know people who are EXACTLY like that.

Anyways, I wouldn't try to peacock in a gym. You are there to "better your health" as far as everyone else is concerned so wearing a sweatband will not make you stand out. Maybe if you are physically fit that can peacock for you kind of... she'll remember you as the guy with huge arms or whatever, but I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just open and go with it.

I am very curious since some of you guys said just "open it." How do you go about doing it at a gym? Everyone is there to be fit, and it doesnt seem right to me for a woman to get hit on by a some guy during their workout.

You goto the gym to workout...
Your working out... but your friendly...and notice a girl sucking at what she is doing.
IDK doing kerls totaly wrong...
That is when you go help her ..with how should be done.... then get back to your workout.... your tit's arnt getting bigger by helping her....
if she wants to continue then she will notify you some how..

Maybe some spandex, or some really high tennis shorts paired with wristbands and a yellow sweat band?

In all honesty, I really don't think women are going to be at all interested in whether you're wearing a wristband or jewelery of any sort in the gym. Since it is a male dominated area, women are less likely to go up to you and use your jewelery as a reason to go up to you. In fact, I would probably use the fact that it is a male dominated area as a way to start conversation with women in the gym.

For example: You rarely see women going into the weight room, so they're always in the room with the weight machines or cardio area. If an attractive women walks in to the weight room, you could actually start a conversation by mentioning that: " Excuse me, sorry to bother you, but do you notice that there's hardly ever any women in the weight room? Is it because they're intimidated?" or something to that effect.

Out of respect, don't waste your time with "peacocking" at a gym. If you go 3-4 times a week, as I do, establishing yourself socially would do more for you. If you have a consistent schedule, naturally, you'll see the same people there. Hell, you might even establish friendships with people there because you might end up talking to them, or vise versa because you see them all the time at the SAME time. That's how i established myself socially in the gym. Once you do that, it will feel more comfortable for you, and starting conversations will also be easier if you stay aware of the social environment and use it to your advantage.

DO NOT:

slam the weights down extremely loudly
try to talk over your ipod if the volume is high
lift weight you can't do by yourself unless you have a spotter.


really bright neon colors that practically scream "HEY LOOK AT ME!" will catch anyones eye really. neon orange, green, yellow are some colours i'd recommend.

Typically if i see a gal exercising I'll stand by as if waiting on her. when she's finished I'll smile and offer an alternate way to work the muscle she was just working. i do this in a friendly helpful way. The gym i go to is usually full of of regulars so just that little advice every now and then builds up rapport. Women typically remember me as "the guy with good tips" so alot of times i'll get to throw some kino in while showing a new workout and sometimes women will approach me(or even introduce novice friends to me) asking for lifting/stretching advice.
