i always get asked what i do but the way i describe it the girls dont find it interesting, can anyone describe it better?

talk about the great tradition of city planners and surveyors. look up Hippodamos, the father of modern city planning, haha. Talk about the greco-roman tradition of surveying and civil engineering, and then say something like "I'm not so much concerned with catapult attacks these days, but there are a myriad of problems when it comes to engineering the long term well being of our fair city." Tell her you study the Hippodamic Arts
