I was on myspace just talking to a girl about her trip to Oahu, born there so it was good subject This is one I never even talked to she real hot bunches of friends etcetc.

So i said i had to get off and shes like id like to get to know u better. ToLD her just to give me her number and she asked for mine. What's this mean?? Why did she turn it around. She said she'll call me later its 1am hope she doesn't my ass gonna be asleep lol.

My guess is you didn't build up enough comfort for her to give her number, but was attracted to you enough to ask for yours.

That's exactly it. She wasn't comfortable enough. That happened to me just last night. I asked her first and she sort of resisted but it was obvious that she wanted to give it to me by the feel of the conversation and her asking me for my number instead. So I blocked it by saying "aww isn't that nice, you used a pick-up line circa 1992." She cracked up. After she tries to switch it on you never give it to her at first. Not until you have to. You should take a step back at this point and start to build comfort again. Start asking questions about her life and say stuff about yours, fluff talk; where she grew up, how many siblings does she have, what's her favorite drink. And relate to it. After a bit of this I put a false time constraint on it and say I have to go in a bit. Than when you are leaving say, "So I know everything about you except what your number is, and that would be? Oh I've got to go." Let me know how it works.
