hey everyone, i met this girl last night. She was in the smoking area of the club crying on her own, turned out she'd just broken up with her bf. I got her number, no k-close, wanted be tread carefully.

She's from abroad, doesn't have many good friends here. Day 2 needs to be low pressure, cos of her recent break up. So i'm thinking to take her along to this day music festival in town, along with a few of my friends.

Problem is that's not till next weekend. How should I play the time from now till then?
I text her today, only once tho. Will ring her tomorrow maybe. Should I say something like:

hey you need to come out with me and my friends next weekend, but ill tell you about it when the time comes?

Or should I say nothing till closer to the time, and keep up a little correspondence till then?

Or no correspondence then text her in a few days?

Or should I just risk being more high pressure and tell her 2 come for a drink b4 then. (Problem here is I framed the n-close along the "I'll take you to some fun places/ To see london" etc.)

Also she'll be working probably all week.

I'm torn between between giving her a lot of space, and keeping up the emotional momentum. How do you guys think I should balance this one?

Definately give her lots of space. Watch out she might use you as a bounce back and don't be surprised if she suddenly gets back with her ex. Be prepared for an emotional rollercoaster.

Your thinking about it too much, just make contact whenever you feel like making contact and if she's seems interested then setup a day 2.

Say if u get good rapport with her, u could be the perfect rebound cause pretty much every girl that just gets out of a relationship wants that physical connection because they just had it and now it's gone it feels weird to them.

Like i had this chick a while back in my AFC days, that i use to talk to while she was dating this guy. During then i had created good rapport with her and I guess he finally hit it and like a month or so later he broke up with her. Like soon after, she really wanted to hang cause she wanted someone(Me) to "just make out with."

Well you said you were going to take her out to have some fun, so do just that. Try to steer clear of being Dr. Phil. If she starts telling you her problems with the ex, listen and respect her opening up but then try to change the subject and take control of the conversation. "You know what you need right now? I'm going to take you to my favorite coffee shop! You HAVE to try the ____".
