| I met this Japanese girl through a friend of mine. I'm learning Japanese so it was interesting for me to meet more people from there. But there's a catch, she's also super cute. I fall for her immediately while i see her sitting at the sushi bar where i work as a busboy (student job) waiting for my shift to finish. Me and my friends were going for a few drinks and she was in the group.
So fast forward at the bar and the mood in the group is dead, so i bring up drinking games with her and eventually the whole group started playing. So after a share of fun, we go walking the girls in the group home because it's a bit dangerous at night and she asks for my phone number, i didn't have mine so i typed it in her phone.
This was Sunday. So i call her up Wednesday night for a small date Friday, i just planned on a small walk and a coffee/tea since forecasts announced rain, but it was super sunny. So instead we get breakfast at a restaurant and then i walk her all around town, showing her interesting things. She laughs at my jokes constantly, does not reject small kino, proves herself to be a very down to earth gal. I got so comfortable in this that i forgot to neg and use cocky and funny, and was pretty much nice to her most of the time. I felt like the IoI's were not super strong .
She accepts my challenge at pool at a later date, where the loser cooks for the winner. She invites me in her apartment when i drop her off (no sex, i think she just trusted a lot), and when she's saying thank you (as i am about to leave) i point to my cheek and she kisses it, taking her time and closing her eyes (a bit more sensual than a normal cheek kiss).
I know that i could have built up a lot more sexual tension, but i got too comfortable and stayed in that zone too long. But is it too late? or is it still on and i can use the comfort i built here to start a better kino escalation on the next date?
Also, when a girl is the shy type, is it possible that the IoIs seem slower and less intense?
I know i started on the slow side, let me know if i should proceed at the same pace or push it a little.
