right, get on this one

PUA: hey, i was just wondering what your thoughts were on the current economical crisis?
HB:err. . . . (puzzled look)
PUA: yea im the same, theres one thing we have in common

then hit her with the rest of your opener

but it could be their thought on anything techincal, anything that you know will baffle her to shit. i was trying for the get her slightly embarressed route then save her by declaring your lack of interest and your off to a talking start. .

whats the verdict??

thanks, marto

I dont know man. well it depends on the kind of girl i guess. A good opener will make it easy to transition and i think its hard to transition from here. And it can only be used in a coffee shop or palces like that.

Most openers are relationship based or similar because thats what interest woman. But go out and try it man x

What happens when you encounter a woman with more than high heels and lip gloss in her head and she has opinions about politics, current events, and the economy? She's going to make you look very stupid, very quickly if you don't know your stuff. You shouldn't use your lack of knowledge about something as subjective as d the economy as a pickup point. Use something that reflects well on you, and can't be turned around as a DLV so quickly.

I enjoy politics and I've used discussions about the economy and politics as a DHV when dealing with "smarter" girls. Women like a man who is worldly and knowledgeable. If you can hold your own in a friendly political debate with them, you can definitely hold your own in a relationship.

I don't avoid those topics out of ignorance. I avoid them because those can be sensitive issues for some women. And typically whenever i find myself sarging those topics just aren't appropiate at the given time/location.

Ah sorry that was directed at the original thread starter and not you. I agree politics along with religion can be very volatile and should not be used as an opener. However when it does come up in relevant conversation, it can be a beautiful thing indeed.
