How to open a girl i met years ago on facebook?

Around 8 years ago I met this amazing girl, however i was really young then, and she lives in South Africa, whilst i live in the UK. My cousin came over from SA and we spoke about her and he showed me a photo of her on facebook, and she is even more stunning than i remembered.

What i would like to do is add her on facebook, but since i havnt spoken to her since i saw her 8 years ago, i dont really know how to do this.

What would be the best way of going around adding her, and then talking to her more?

Just add her and if she asks who u are just say ur cousin suggested adding u !
