Hey,
So while online or text sarging/ just generally talking to girls and trying to build rapport I get what could be a death sentence: an "okay", "yeah", "no", "ah", "lol", or "haha". These one-word responses kill me. I'm always afraid that if I continue to ask questions or talk to them I will appear needy and end up talking too much. I also want to avoid killing conversation in any way possible. Anybody have a say on this? What should I do in these situations?

Part two of this question:
If she starts to do this and I say something when she's doing this like- "Let me know if or when you're able to talk...I don't want to bother you" is this good because it's shifting the responsibility of the conversation to her or bad because it may sound like I'm pitying myself if read incorrectly?

concerning the part two, I would not do this, as you mentioned it... you dont have to pity yourself for her not talking....

when I get responses of that kind, first I stop hoping too much from the girl. it sounds stupid, but it s not. This being said, when it happens, I begin to only ask open questions and ban yes/no questions. I ban comments too (to which she can answer "lol" or "great!" or "cool!").

For example you can ask her what s her favorite food, and drink and why? and when is the last time she had it? and what happened? She HAS to answer those kinds of questions. She can't go "lol" or .

Finally, if I see the girl takes too long to answer something like "great", I never hesitate to send a yellow card : "to how many people you re chatting at the minute?!? close your other conversations!". If that does not help I sent the second yellow card "chat is not fun if there is no chats". Those sometimes work/sometimes dont. Sometimes the girl is just busy too, so dont give her another chance when you come back another day. But the rule to me is, if the girl does it, dont expect too much from her and move on, plenty of fish...

listen dog usually these girls just wanna have fun, so spice that shit up, say crazy ass shit to her and tell her funny crazy ass stories about yourself.

I'm sure they're not tryin to get married and shit right now they want someone fun.

I'll add a few viewpoints to this which I think have been overlooked.

The person doing 1 word responses may simply need opening up, they're bored. Throw in a few snappy open slightly weird questions asking for opinions. See if she opens up. If not forget her.

one trick if someone does one word answers (especially in chat) is to just repeat what she typed one letter at a time

It maybe worth considering that she is doing single word answers as she may be wanting to change it to offline and getting impatient. Just ask straightfowardly.
