Im new to to using this calculated and systematic approach to picking up women and I must say its quite exciting. I went to a club last night with a few friends, I had no wing but I managed to open a few sets...seemed like I met a lot of married chicks though (3 I believe, which is a lot for a college bar). Anyways I seemed to be building attraction with the non-married chicks but their boyfriends came up in conversation which was a bummer. I found it hard to neg them too, any suggestions?

I was wondering if i did well in this situation? This bar was a rooftop outdoor bar, and they have these strong fans in the corners (it was hot as hell too). I walk up to the fan where a 2 set consisting of an HB8 and a 9 are standing, and these 2 guys who were clearly not their BFs:

me: "Hey Im gonna share this little piece of heaven with you guys for a second...actually...no im an only child Im just gonna take it all for myself."

HBs: laugh and body language suggests they arent creeped out and are willing to let me share the fan
I lift my shirt up to let some air circulate, and the HB8 grabs my shirt and starts lifting as well, flirtatiously assisting me. This is all within 5 seconds of me approaching the set.

me: you cant do that to me
hb8: and why not?
me: because thats not very appropriate
then she gives me a confused smile and lets it go, and then i put my arm around her shoulder and we do this little reggae dance type deal.

I then proceed to the bathroom (my initial destination) and I come back to the fan and the HB9 engages me, the AFC friends are gone at this point. I give her the questions routine and so forth "you dont look like youre from around here" and we argue about the football team from where shes from and I tell her that we cant be friends anymore. I think i was building decent attraction. She gave me a couple of IOIs, she was laughing, leaning toward me, light touching, and hell she engaged me for convo. Then one of her AFC friends who was there initially gets her away from me.

I know im gonna have to work on closing, but I was wondering if the neg I used on the HB8 was good or do you think it wasnt strong enough to disqualify me?

i wouldn't really call what you did a neg. its an ok opener, but not so much a neg. In your case here you should have used the neg's to disarm the AFC friend that came to take her away

Okay, it seemed a bit too technical with the "appropriate" statement. Next time, instead of sounding like a scientist, make it a little more fun and casual. Even the smallest changes can make a real improvement. Like replace it with any of the following:

"Cause touchin me ain't free."
"Cause my momma warned ME about innappropriate touching!"
"Cause I didn't tell you it was time to get naked yet."
"Cause I ain't that easy."

These are much more playful. Don't get me wrong, you did really well and it DID work for you so no biggie.
