Im dating a professional athlete and I cant seem to figure out how to dhv to her because she always has attention on her and I dont know what to say when she dhv's to me because its not like shes making things up to show she has higher value them me because the things she says are true. how do I dhv her and be the alpha male to bring her back down under me or at least on the same level?

If you're already dating her then it's no longer your job to make her like you (which is the supposed purpose of "DHVs"). She clearly already does or she wouldn't be, you know, dating you. Her perception of your value is obviously higher than the way you perceive it or she wouldn't be in the relationship.

Quit worrying about "DHVing" or "bringing her back down under you." Why would you even want to do that to your girlfriend? You're creating a problem where there isn't one to satisfy some misguided, ego-driven need to "be alpha" or feel more important than her.

Instead of doing that, why not try thinking less and enjoying your time together more?
