I've been online sarging for a while, and have been honing my skills as time goes on. Most if not all of my initial messages include some sort of question, or method for the HB to continue the conversation back with me, and they usually do. Sometimes, however, I'll get a message that is just a simple one or two word response. In the most recent case, the reply was "Thanks Shades..." even though I left modes open for her to continue the conversation in my message.

Usually when I get a short response like this, I am not able to resurrect the conversation. Is this a 100% IODI? Seems to me that if she's completely uninterested, she wouldn't reply at all, though perhaps some people just do it out of politeness. Does anyone have suggestions on what to do with a reply like this, and how to get the conversation moving?

Yeah, giving you one word responses is a sure sign that the girl isn't interested in you. I haven't sarged online, but I think you should plow as mush as you can (which is usually done in such situations, but not online).

That's all that I can say about your problem, but I suggest sarging in the real world - it's so much better .

The majority of the time when a girl gives you short replies she is not interested in you. Saying that there are girls that are not good online but do a lot better in person. I recently went out with a girl that was like this. As she put it she was not great with online chit chat, but with face to face conversation.
