what's up everyone!

I found out recently I'm going to be sent off to LA for a week (Van Nuys) for work. Since this would be my first time in LA I was wondering what places are good to go to meet people and practice gaming? Are most of the places there all gamed out? Do all the girls suspect everyone is a PUA or wannabe? Are they approachable?

I'm a Midwestern guy, from the land of Minnesota nice who just moved out to Phoenix and am trying to get my bearings in the big city.

Also along the same lines...I'm being sent to Wichita, KS for 2 weeks...any good spots there anyone knows of? The last time I was there (2 years ago) there was a club called America Pub or something similar to that in Old Towne...anyone got any other suggestions? I'll be flying solo in both places.
