I like to wear my hair longer and it usually looks pretty good but the one problem im having is that it can get kinda messy and hard to keep in place. Ive used some styling creams but the thing is that it can look a little greasy. i dontwant to get into gel or anything so are there any other products that will just keep things tame without going over board. Thanks for the help guys

I used to have shoulder length hair as a teen and there is very little you can do. I moved to a windy city for uni and just cut it off, cos the only option is to tie it back and i never would. A good option might be hair sprey but if its free it wont hold long. A good plan of attack would be to scrape together what you would normally pay for two hair cuts and go to a stylist and explain that you like it long, want a bit of style put into it and want to be able to control it. You'll get everything you need to know there. If your skint go to a training college and tell them to go wild. For some reason neat at the front and messy at the back is in SPAM, its like a stylising mullet! for that hair between 3 and 6 inches is perfect, textured and thinned. Shockwaves matt clay for the best results with that.
However whatevere you've got Dax can probably do the job, but if you need a lot, or want your hair flat on your head it might have an undesired effect. But it holds!!! Realy holds! In fact Dax original can solve all your problems, no matter what your hair is, just dont put it in thick. Just rub it on your hands and gently run your hands through your hair.
