So I got in touch with this girl I dated a few years back, and we arranged dinner for one night later this week. Well she texted me shortly after we agreed on a time and said that she "will come one on one condition: if her friend (whom I've also known for a long time) comes along." She also asked if we could push our plans back one night further.

What does this mean, and more importantly, how should I play it?

It means your not getting any action. Or at least she is going to try and make it seem like this is just a get together and nothing more. Although play your cards right and you should be fine.

Here is a really good technique to help yourself. Just think for a moment if you were a girl, and a guy called you for dinner all of sudden later on in the week. All of a sudden you decide to bring one of your girlfriends along with you. Why would you do that?
