Well Totti when people like yourself who are incapable of independent thought(learn to stand on your own 2 feet sometimes) who purposely mis-post noob questions in the PUA Lounge just to get longer post lifespan then only want to hear what they want to hear instead of what they need to hear. I think tough love is important but can be taken the wrong way very easily. I am fucking done with people who want a magic word or something that will transform them. its like you say you want to change but waht are you doing towards it my pet hate at the moment being "I want hot girls but don't want to talk to strangers or have to approach anyone" well fuck me as soon as one of you guys figures that out gimme a shout.

I have given my fair share of tough love to some people here... And if I hurt anyones feelings I apologize, humbly.

However, there is a time and a place for tough love. I would say that teaching (giving advice) newbies the art of pick-up is more important than getting a high votes count or feeling like the man for five minutes...

I agree with Rye Lee. Sometimes there is a question from a newbie asking for help. That is great! Newbies need help, newbies should get the best advice we can give them. What a newbie needs to hear is something that has been tested, something that has been used in field many many times. Or in the case of pick-up theory, something that has been observed many many times.
Basically, you need to know what you are talking about.
I have seen some horrible replies, advice that makes no sense at all. Advice saying that certain parts of the game is bullshit, that people should forget some special technique because it sucks etc etc.

The point is, many times those opinions come from people with a very low post count. They are written by people who do not know what they are talking about, sure they may have read a lot but it does not compare to in field experience. People listen to our advice guys. The kick you get out of sounding like you know what you are talking about is not worth leading a newbie astray.

Yes, I realize that I now do the exact same thing, I sound like I know everything and have all the answers. Well, I dont. Nobody does. However I would like to say that I believe that I have enough in field experience to back up my opinions. I got 4-5 days a week dedicated to in field practice, I spend about 4 hours in field on each occasion.

I believe that when someone gives advice that is totally wrong (and we know that from experience) the more experienced should set it straight. I expect the people that are more experienced than me to do it to me as well!

Yes, we need to be nice to each other, but we also need to disagree when something is wrong.

In addition to the tough love, it appears there's lots of AMOGing practice on here. For starters, some of us may know each other outside this forum but generally, we're all here for a common cause and I've personally been on the end of some decidedly dodgy feedback. I'm okay to take the flack for it because some of us never grow a pair to ask or post about something original/worth reading. Stop hiding behind negative comments when the bloody thing has been riding your ass too.

I welcome some knuckle-comments if they're helpful not only to me but members of this forum who can't post something out of fear
