situation is, a month ago I met her at a bar we both got talking exchanged numbers, texted for a while but couldnt meet up as i had exams. texted her once im free and we've arranged to meet up on the weekend.

a) she said she was drunk but didnt seem that gone, but obviously is interested if she responds to texts, doesnt mind meeting up, and single

my questions are (not sure where we plan to go yet) how do i figure out her game? what does she want from me, a bit of fun or friendship, or build onto something else, a relationship possibly....

she was polite on the fone and said "thanks for returning my call, glad your exams went well" etc..

it'll be weird meeting her after a month when we only briefly met, but such is life

You're asking the wrong questions. You need to ask yourself what YOU want from HER! That should effect the way you treat this situation more than guessing as to what she's looking to get out of this.
