| So I arrive at this party one of my old friends are throwing (very cool party btw.), and the first thing you gotta do when you enter the party, is to grab a little card telling you one thing you have to do at some point in that night.
My card says: "Use the classic pick-up line "have we met somewhere before? You seem so familiar.""
Haha, great I think to myself.
I enter the club with my friend (who later turns out to be my wingman). We get a drink and localize a table with the following people:
1. Bill (A good friend)
2. Bill's girlfriend Anna [HB7] (also a friend of mine, and have K-closed this girl before Bill was with her.)
3. Anna's friend Lindsay [HB7.5] (never seen her before)
4. Kylie [HB9] (just a good girl-friend of mine, would never ever date her)
5. Some random HB's that im not interested in.
Me and my friend sit down, and we obviously say hello to Bill, Anna and Kylie. Almost immideatly, I get some really nice eye-contact with Lindsay, which is quite flirtatious! I initate in some convo with Kylie to DHV myself in front of Lindsay (remember Kylie is a HB9, so the fact that I am talking to her tells something about me). I keep the convo very smooth with Kylie, constantly smiling and enjoying myself - also, I have some conversation with Bill.
My friend and I are DJ's, so after a little while, we decide to go say hello to the DJ's that're playing at the party.
Okay, 30 minutes have perhaps passed so far including the DJ's, and I have been around talking to everybody, laughing and smiling, and have had 2-3 moments of eye-contact with the cute girl Lindsay. So far, I LOVE this evening.
So I tell my friend that "I think that girl over there is flirting with me", and he replies "haha, she had some eye-contact with me too", so naturally I feel a bit dissapointed.
Anyway, I go out to have a cigarette, and then suddenly Anna and Lindsay passes by me. I tap Anna on the shoulder and say "Excuse me, have we met somewhere before? You seem so familiar!". She stops, smiles and say something like "no.. I dont think so..", trying to not laugh by the fact that it's such a cheesy pick-up line. So I quickly tell her with a smile "hehe, don't worry, my card told me to say this. You should feel very honored by the way, that I chose to use it on you!" [BEST OPENER EVER, AM I RIGHT?!]
She laughs and says something like "haha, yeah, I am truly honored."
After that, I turn ALL of my attention over to Anna, and start up a smooth conversation with her etc., I don't wanna give Lindsay too much attention right away.
My friend comes over, admits that Lindsay is more into me than him, and he starts backing me up, and DHV'ing me. Me, my friend, Lindsay and Anna dance alot that night, and I have some really close dances with Lindsay (and Anna too, to make Lindsay want me!), where I was THIS close to kiss her..
But nothing happened..
So, summary: I felt like a real PUA that night, I think my game was pretty damn tight. Furthermore, I didn't even really think about all of the cool things I did like ignoring Lindsay a bit etc., I just naturally did them!
BUT, I did not K-close, or number-cloes on Lindsay.
What do you think guys? Should simply have uttered the classic phrase: "Would you like to kiss me?", or whats up?
