Cocky funny would have been better in my opinion. No offense Memento but I think that seemed a bit too much of a serious question, and so it could have seemed a bit weird. I mean isn't the whole point supposed to be keeping it fun and playful? For her to say ''your really not funny'' means dappah was joking around with her at first, so was trying to keep things playful. She's given you a shit test dappah by saying you're not funny, and tried to control you, (and I don't know how you put this) and buy into her frame? So by answering seriously instead of keeping it playful you've failed failed the shit test, the convo isn't gonna be fun anymore, and that's why she gave the bitchy comment. Negging more will probably just turn it into an arguement and you could lose the girl, whereas with a cocky funny comment could just make her laugh and you could carry on having fun with the convo. I would have tried the line CaptRow suggested. I'm stuck for what to say now though too I think that question might have killed it. I'd try just giving taking the piss out of her getting frustrated and being serious, and do it playfully. Just keep the convo playful and act unaffected by the bitchiness. What was it you texted before the ''your not funny'' comment?

I would say "It sounds like you may have lost your sense of humour, I'll go see of those girls over there will help me look for it."
