Ok, there's a girl this girl who works in the hair dressers a few doors from me. She came into my pet shop a few months back asking about animals. I managed to goet her number by saying I need my hair cut but cos of working so much I hardly get a chance to get it done.
I text her a couple of times but we never made arrangements, maybe cos I might have said some stupid shit in the last text. I was trying to be funny and the last text I sent said "talk to me" at the end of it. For those who aren't from the UK there's a program on TV called fone jacker, and this character called Terry Tibbs always says "talk to me", it's like his catch phrase. I was hoping she might have got the joke but then again she might have thought I was being rude or looking desperate.
Anyway, she came into my shop today & I said "I thought you were gonna cut my hair". She said her phone got cut off and lost a load of peeps numbers and blah blah.
Now, the situation is I want to ask her out for a drink but don't know how I should go about it and just need some ideas. I don't want to arrange to get my hair cut and ask her then, cos I'd feel inadequate while sitting down in a chair with one of those poncho things on while she stands over me, and hairdressers always make your hair look stupid while they cut it & I dont want her to see me with stupid hair.
Would I been construed as a pussy to ask her out in a text? If I call I might get a bit tongue tied and fuck it up completely (Im not a fan of random phone calls). I would ask her to her face but I never get a chance to talk to her alone, like today when she came in she had her little hairdresser buddy with her. When she's come in before there's been other customers in the shop etc.

Thats good man, Im feeling that shit but trust me, I cant do it in the salon. There's like 4-5 girls who work in there from my town who I dont know but see around all the time. The girls from my town are all dicks man. If I don't pull it off it's gonna be fucking awkward. Plus there aint gonna be a time when she's alone in there. You know what women are like with their hair, there's always customers in there chatting away, it'd be hard to a. get her away from her paying customer and b. ask her out in front of an entire shop full of women. Maybe if it was in another town and I had nothing to lose but it wouldnt surprise me if some of the customers from my shop would be in there. Also it'd be hard for me to know if she's alone in there because I dont walk past her shop to get to or go home from work, she's like 3 doors down but in the opposite direction to the way I walk. I walk past to grab a bit of lunch but I'm on my own in the shop so can only really go grab some food and come straight back. I wouldnt feel comfortable trying to chat her up in the salon anyway, its a weird layout, like all raised floors and bright lights and shit.
