i think first of all i should say im in highschool

i just randomly started talked to a friend that i havent seen in atleast a year, i think she might of liked me but she was also dating my friend who initiated things before i did. we are going to a concert in 2 weeks and she seemed pretty happy about me talking to her and askin if she wants to go to the show.
but i have a problem, i havent been that great in the girl department as in i havent got any action lately or ever had a gf unless you count the one in gr.2 which i dont haha.
but im worried it will be difficult to come up with things to say, i was having enough trouble keepin up the conversation with her (this was on msn)
i know i wont have to think of that much conversation since we will be at a concert so itll be hard to hear eachother , i guess i can use that for kino and just gettin closer in general. i know some people here are great conversationalist and they can just pull stuff out of their ass so any help would be great as would any other tips!

i dunno if this is relevant but i used to get anxiety from smoking pot and being with people i havent meet before or im not comfortable with but i have stopped smoking and im pretty sure i can already notice my game stepping up at school.]

edit: i think im going to ask her to come clothes shopping with me before the show so we catch up, what do you guys think?

also im not sure if this should go in day 2's or not mid game so sorry if this is the wrong section.

Shopping with girls is always good, be sure to kino, you don't want her to LJBF or think of you as her gay buddy.
MSN sometimes is handy to talk to girls, in general you build 0 comfort on msn and eventually you'll run out of things to say. That will generate a negative feeling which she will attach to you. By the way, you want to project the image of a busy guy, and those guys don't sit at MSN all day..
What you need to do is practice! Instead of MSN call girls! Of course at first it's hard but from every mistake you learn and you have to get good at talking with girls some day. There are lots of topics that interest girls (Adventure, the unknown,vip gossip etc..)
And be sure to make her laugh and hang up at the high point. There's no point in calling hours with a woman and run out of things to say(which you probably will if she's not that much of a soul mate)

About the concert thing, fake it til you make it. However it's quite hard to get rid of your old reputation. If you really like this girl as you said you should kino, that way she'll know you are sexually interested in her.
What's your goal here anyway, do you just want to boink here(road trip:D) or is she your potential first 9?

thanks for the reply. right know my goal is to see if i like her enough to take it to the next level. i want to find someone that i like enough to make my girlfriend but i dont want it just to be anyone. it obviously has to be a girl i can stand to be around for more then 5 minutes but i want more then that. i want a really chill girl i can just hang out with. if this doesn't work out, worst case scenario i got a female wing

also on the phone do you have any conversational tips because as i said before, i havent seen her in a long time so i think somethings will be lacking in the conversation department.

edit: i have my own laptop so i always keep my msn on but its always in busy. should i just keep it on appear offline so i still talk to the people i need to but then come online every once in a while?
