Im a waiter at weekends at a busy resturant.
I have to interact with people all the time and make them feel comfortable.
i recommend this job to people that suffer with anxiety because it will bring you out of yourself slowly but surely.
Ive been in this job for a year now and not only has it given me confidence, its given me a place to practice my pick-up skills and scoial skills that are essential for us playaaas ;):P

so do it!!!

Be a waiter!!

seriously. Im a host at a restaraunt. A year ago when i got the job I was afc. 3 months ago i learned about this and seriously now all I do is flirt with girls of all ages. The cougs come in and its just play time.

also helps me work on my convo skills with the guys as I suck horribly at them.

Best part was tonight an coworker who I hadn't seen for 6 months started working at my store again. she said" it's wierd. your different. your not that little boy I used to know." Good shit.

i think a salesman is the best, it teaches you to take over your AA problems if you have any. I worked at best buy as a salesman and i had to approach every single person, male female, elderly or young hot 10 approach, have a converstation with them and get to know them a little personally for them to gain that trust for you and then convince them to buy this product. It teaches you many interaction techniques with different types of ppl, sure as hell taught me a lot.

Any job that has social interaction is a key to building a bridge across the AA illness all AFCs start with.

I work as a projectionist at a theater, and I had to go in front of a sold out theater, and tell them there would be zero tolerance in the movie.

Of course its alot less interaction, but you gotta have good people skills.

salesman by far. also promotor is a good deal to learn to approach strangers for something they may not want, a common thought in the approach anxiety in action
