What you do is you never eat the full meal, only eat half. This way you get something in you, but your not eating everything on your plate.
I started doing this, and with running I've dropped ten pounds in three weeks. Its pretty good stuff.
I know it may sound wasteful, but just fill up half your plate then. _________________ Pre-Med Student: Pediatric Neurology (Year 2)

He gave up pop, and replaced it with water, and to substituted the sweetness with apple juice, and other things.
Just cut out a little what you eat, and you'll notice results. _________________ Pre-Med Student: Pediatric Neurology (Year 2)

If you consume 3 larger meals, you may be taking in more carbs than your body needs at that moment. What does your body do with these extra carbs and sugar? It stores them as fat.
Now, if you were to consume 5 or 6 smaller meals, you would be consuming less carbs per meal. However, you are more likely to not consume more carbs than your body needs at that moment. Therefore, your body will not store any (or as much) fat.
Although you are eating the same number of carbs at the end of the day, you will be storing less fat!
