Hey guys, im pretty new to this whole thing. I've opened a few sets with my buddy when we were on holiday but im starting a new job soon as a bartender and wondered if anyone had some cool openers i could use??

Man, I've never been a bartender, but I'm thinking you are in for a fun ride.

The way I see it is that as a bartender, chicks are basically opening you the entire time you are on the job. A list of things you could do include the following:

1.) Compliment her on a piece of clothing. You can do the traditional thing and turn it into a neg or you can be sincere and ask where she got it or any other relevant question.

2.) Be fun! Almost every bartender I see (remember this is a college town) is always in a rush and has a scowl on their face and a bad attitude. Do something like telling her that you're out of the alcohol or mix for the drink she ordered. Keep making an excuse for every drink she orders until she looks exacerbated, and then start to crack a smile. It's gonna make her remember you because you were funny.

3.) Get an opinion, especially if it's slow and she's actually AT the bar.

4.) Learn the tricks with the bottles. This will be mad DHV, especially if you're the only one who can do it. I'm imagining you would get much better tips too.

That's just a short list but remember that the social interaction is started by the girl now, so there's no AA and you already hold the power card. You're already HV because you're the bartender. Be the badass bartender!
