Alright I booked the camp...Have yall figured out the hotel yet? I think thats a great idea....

I looked up the Baymont Inn & Suites and it looks very reasonably priced at 70/night....Especially if its in the heart in downtown....

Anyone have any other hotels in mind?

K I booked the hotel at the Baymont Inn & Suites...I got 53/night for 3 nights....I found it about $100 cheaper if i booked it on hotels.com rather than the actual hotel site....Weird...You'd think it was the other way around...

Anyway, I read reviews on the hotel and the location is perfect as its right in the heart of downtown....Only place for that price in that area....

Just some FYI

I don't understand. If you are spending $1,000 for a course why are you spending so little on a room? That makes no sense. A $53 a night room is scary. PUA is so confusing.

Because splurging on a expensive hotel when traveling is counter-productive....The only reason I should be in my room is for sleeping....Ive always cheaped out on hotels or hostels in my travels....More money for fun....Ive traveled quite a bit....Ive done the expensive hotels before and its such a waste...Again, if you're really out there enjoying your trip, your not in your hotel...

But the hotel isnt really cheap....It normally goes for 100 + per night but I just found a deal....And most importantly the location couldnt be better...

Check out hotels.com.....People leave comments about their stay and you can get a very good idea of what you're getting yourself into....Also, the longer you stay the cheaper the rates....For a 3 night stay Im getting the 3rd night free....great deal

Sorry to hear you're not making it Bladesmith, good luck for next time!

Who's around town Thursday evening? I'll be settled in to the hotel by around 5, and after that I'll want to find some dinner and then start exploring. The bootcamp doesn't start till Friday evening, so there's plenty of time to run around till the AM's Thursday and still be good to go for the camp. We should meet up, swap some stories, then do some warm-up winging before the main event.

Also, for my way overdue intro...I'm a beginner at this who, like half the community, discovered it by reading the Game about a year ago. I was in a promising relationship at the time, so I filed it away until a late Summer. I spent the Fall going in information overload hell, the Winter making some half-assed approaches, and then this Spring deciding on my 27th birthday that it's time to get this rolling.

I've spent the last month and a half getting (semi-)used to chatting up strangers, sometimes keeping it going for a while but not regularly closing. My goal for this trip is replace the mish-mash of systems I've looked over with Adam's, then get cozy enough with it to consistently make it to the middle/late stages.

Hey guys...this really sux but I'm not going to be there. I was recently laid-off from my job, and I really need to conserve the cash. I was REALLY looking forward to this bootcamp, but that's life. I've already paid the deposit, but just can't afford to fork out the balance while I'm still unemployed. Y'all please keep me there in spirit, and post all about the bootcamp when you return.

Gruuve
