Hey folks...since there's three of us from this site going, I decided to start a thread specific to that booty-camp.

So far, myself (Gruuve), tbk183lp, and DallyingDreamer are going. Cool guys!

I tossed out the suggestion that we all stay in the same hotel, and pick one close to the night-game location (I can drive 4-5 of us to the day-game location). DallyingDreamer has booked the Baymont Inn & Suites for himself...I'll be checking their rates for myself shortly.

So guys...for starters, why don't we figure out some "accomplishment introductions" that we can do for each other when we get the chance to introduce each other to women during our in-the-field training? Here's what you can use for me, post something for yourself and let's all three have each other's memorized by the time we get there...cool? I have being a musician as part of my identity, so that would be something good to use for me, I think. In fact, a buddy in a single's group introduced me this way once, I thought it was very slickly done.

"Hey you guys, this is Gruuve, he's living the musician's life. The main man in Wicked Truth...probably going to be the next Trent Reznor."

Or re-word it however you'd like. That's actually a true statement...I do all the songwriting, instruments, vocals, etc...similar to how folks like Rob Zombie, Trent Reznor/Nine Inch Nails, Moby, etc., produce their music (can't hurt to compare me to those guys in the intro if you recognize their names). In fact, go here and take a listen to one of my published original songs...it's pretty erotic, you guys might enjoy it or even get some mileage out of it with a chick! 8) I think I'll switch my avatar to the release artwork, now that I think about it.

www.rhapsody.com/wicked-truth

You guys please post some sort of accomplishment intro I can use for you...keep it short enough that my tiny little mind can remember it!

Looking forward to meeting you guys in person and sarging with ya! 8)

Cheers!
Gruuve

Oh man, here I've been lazy with my identity--my running buddies are, shall we say, distantly supportive of my efforts: "Oh, he's doing that approaching thing again...he'll be back, let's keep drinking and wait", so I haven't yet worked one out without a wing to have use it. Let me ponder, I'll post back once I've got something good.

I enjoyed the song, definitely post once you've got a full album (or if I'm blind and not seeing it, point it out).

Looking forward to meeting you guys--it sounds like we're in for a fun and productive round of it.

Peace,
DallyingDreamer

I just got a PM from TheBladesmith (on this forum)...looks like he's joining us at the Atlanta booty-camp...awesome! Blade...post up an accomplishment intro we can use for you bro!

Even if we ain't perfected it all yet, let's get there with our game on!

So...one of my weaknesses: I need to learn how to be a good wingman. I haven't had much practice...I do most of my sarging by going out alone...but that still works fine, because I have plenty of acquaintances (regulars, bartenders, bouncers, folks from a meetup group, etc.) in the places I go. So even though I usually arrive alone, there's still plenty of social proof waiting there for me. That of course will be different in Atlanta. (I do TRY to act as a good wing, I just don't know all the process yet...for instance, a meetup last week, I went and got one of the dudes a lady was interested in and brought him over to the table. He was quite appreciative, she was a hottie.)

Anyway, especially since all of us are coming from out of town, the better we know each other beforehand, the more social proof we'll have from each other when we get there. Cool?

MidKnight...where'd you go bud? 8)

Gruuve

Cool, we're getting a decent sized group going.

I've had the same no-wing experience as Gruuve...while I always go with friends, my approaching has been 99% solo with a few disastrous tries by my buds to play wing. I'm looking forward to trying it out with fellow students.

I'll get an Introduction thread post with some background on me in the next day or two, and I haven't forgotten giving you guys an accomplishment intro. Soon enough :)

$1,000 dollars is what the course is going for (2 days?). Is that with airfare and hotel thrown in or do you have to pay more?

The $1000 is for the bootcamp sessions, which I thought were a 3-day/2-night deal--Friday and Saturday all day, then Sunday just in the afternoon.

You're on your own for hotel and airfare. If Orbitz is still running the same deal that I grabbed, you should be able to book both for between $400-$500...we're still a month+ out, so flights should be reasonable.

Hey Whats goin' on gentlemen! Its gonna be great in Atlanta.

A little about myself. I'm what apparently is called a natural, meaning basically I'm a smartass and playful and have no issue being so with anyone lol. I've never had trouble getting chicks but I want to be able to do so consistently. I need to understand how and why I succeeded and more importantly why I failed. That and as we all know being a natural at anything will only get you so far, but blood, sweat and tears is required to be extraordinary.

As for my weaknesses, and I have several, sometimes I have AA and sometimes I don't. Another thing I'm trying to figure out! Also I have only ever gone solo so getting to wing with guys who are on the level will be great! IOIs I have recently become much better at reading. I always noticed them but didn't understand how it fit into the grand scheme if you will, ha. And transistioning was an issue in the past but that has also become easier since learning of PU.

As for accomplishments I'm a Professional Dive Bum (DiveMaster, Instructor, Shop Owner), occassional personal trainer, hobbyist Bladesmith/Metalsmith as the name implies, and my list hobbys includes just about anything exciting and dangerous (climbing, motorcycles, skydiving, rafting, etc.)

Sorry for the long winded post but its my first and wanted my fellow BCer's to have a good grasp on me.

Anyway enough of the novel,

~Matthew

Hey Blade...very cool. We have some things in common. I used to do recreational scuba diving (haven't dived in 7 years or so)...it was a great excuse to go trek around the Caribbean! I layed music down for almost 10 years...during that time, I got into welding and metalworking as a hobby, ended up making a few tractor attachments, and made quite a few "wrought iron" decorative things (an interesting wine rack, some drape hangers, a few interesting wrought iron and ceramic tables, sheetmetal sunfaces, a wrought iron bed frame that I never finished, etc.) I haven't messed with that in a while, but I still have all my equipment (TIG welder, MIG welder, plasma cutter, some cutting, bending, and twisting tools, a home-made power shaping hammer, etc.). Actually, I still have the diving gear too, come to think of it.

So, sounds like we have some good accomplishment intro material for you...professional scuba diver and sword-making hobbiest...very cool.

Btw, I don't mean to "harp" on this intro material or anything...I've read in multiple books/newsletters how important "social proof" is, and that it's important to lift up your buds rather than busting on them in front of the women (target the busting at the ladies instead, right?) For instance, if I give one of you a great intro, that not only elevates your social status, it elevates mine as well. It says about you "he's got social status" rather than "he's a loser". but it also says about me "I hang with winners" rather than "I hang with losers". And vice versa. So, us intro'ing each other in a good way elevates ALL of us, not just the person being intro'd. Cool. 8)

Cheers,
Gruuve

Whats up guys. Just found the thread. Im 22, Im a student, here in FL. A good intro accomplishment for me would be the spontaneous traveling I am some what known for. Will be going to Vegas for the month of June to deal the World Series of poker. Also have been to Mexico, Bahamas, Colombia, and all up the east coast of the United States. What i would like to work on most in this bootcamp is to be able to build better kino escalation and attraction.
Jason

P.S- Cool song gruuve. Catchy Beat.

Alright time for my intro....

Well Im originally from New Orleans, LA but enlisted in the US Air Force as a fighter/bomber jet mechanic about 7 years ago. Like Midknight, Ive traveled quite a bit, Ive been all over Europe, deployed to Kuwait, n Afghanistan, Guam, Mexico, Canada and part of the US....The travel has been awesome....Ive done some of the craziest shit....

Hobbies, I love sports anything outdoors. I played Div 2 college football for a year. I also am into DJing and producing hip hop/electronic.

Im a really laid back dude, can pretty much get along w/ anybody.

As far as my game, well Im mainly aiming for consistency. Im very streaky really, depends on my mood/frame of mind. Some nights Im just on and will game up any chick in the club/bar.....Other times Im just off and can make an ass of myself and just totally bomb.....

Anyways, I really look forward to this camp, I mean if you think about it, its a pretty crazy thought traveling to a random city w/ random people to take a seminar on picking up women but thats the type of crazy shit I like to get myself into.

I cant wait to tear up ATL!!
