I went out to a semi-trashy bar last night with a wing after watching Mystery on vh1. There were really no HBs in the place. I think I caught a glimpse of a HB8 later on but it could have been my imagination.

Walking in, I saw a 2 set checking us out. I made eye contact a couple times with one of them, so instead of approaching we took a table located back behind them. We were ready to try some game on them, or on some other sets but that 2 set came over to us. So now the 2 set had joined us at our table and started talking with us. It didn't really take any game. Just little things like ignoring them as a neg was the only game I had used.

I just don't know where to go from here. I am able to talk to girls just fine but, now, every time I start up conversations I'm focusing on not sounding like an AFC.

We ended up getting a ride home and a number-close. She wrote her name and number down on a paper and then handed me the pen and pad. I just drew two stick figures with arrows saying "me" and "you". Her stick figure was a girl because I made the bottom half a triangle, like a dress. I gave it back to her as I got out of the car. It probably confused her and I don't know when to call her.

Any suggestions?

I am new to this whole game so by no means listen to me.

But I would say, from reading peoples advice, wait 2 days and then call. The 2 day wait is to show you are not needy and over eager.


Oh and btw I love the way you kept control of the situation by drawing stick figures. Now you are in complete control, you have her number, but she doesn't have yours.

I would reccomend coming up with some interesting DHV stories, and therefore not coming off as an AFC. Some common ones to get started are "How you were walking in the woods and encountered a bear...etc." or how you're ex- g/f was a stripper or model. Like Mystery always says "Fake it, till you make it"

Thanks Mondo, I definitely need to come up with some DHVs to use. Is there any links that have a lot of examples? I always see people mention that they used a DHV but they rarely actually mention what it was.

I used to set my friend up all the time by telling girls how he's in a band and just make up some awesome random shit and they'd be all over him. Well that was back in high school anyway.
