In any context, how would you deal with this?

I don't see it as 'rejection', surely a step towards it, but i'm sure there's a turn around point?

I normally smile sweetly and walk off rather than being cocky (funny)
Then re-approach later as if i've never met her.

I dont see it as a rejection, i think its usually more of a shit test. I got cocky funny with "You wish i wished" and smile and BAM the set is laughing and the game is on. Don't eject so easily.

I'd just look at her and smirk and ask " i wish what?....exactly?"...play dumb....if she tells you, such as " you wish to get with me"...spin off into the "well besides your looks, what do you have to offer a man...give me three characteristics that i should like in yourself?"
