I found that all my hobbies are either lone and boring to others (like internet forums / video games / gym / photography), or at best with other guys and as boring to others (like going to computing conferences / pub / sports).

I guess that makes me less attractive, and in any case I'm also bored with most of that already. So where should I look for some new hobby that's both interesting to me and makes me more attractive to women?

Try really exciting things, like sky diving or any other thrill seeking hobbies. I feel that women love guys that live on the edge. It kinda gives you that "I don't like to be grounded persona".

Motorcycles are quite dangerous my friend...

are you listening to yourself?

Gym...
...great way to meet girls...do it with your friends...
"Hey, Cattie. This is tiemnao, I'm going out for a jog at the YMCA, I thought you might wanna come?" pretty much a date right there...without her having all the "first date shields"

Photography...
thats your talent...your expertise...it's something you can have a conversation about and demonstrate your passion...

not to mention...you can always post an ad..."Photographer seeking model for photo shoot at ****...Send portfolio to **** or contact me at **** for information"

seriously dude...

as for new hobbies...music...something music related

thats not fair to exclude motorcycling because you think its "dangerous".
my suggestion was just building on what Shadow Box had said, and which i quite agree with. its really not that dangerous if your a responsible rider, and its also incredibly attractive and fun. a bike is cheaper than a car, and also has tons of other practical value, such as saving money on gas. to ridicule it because you deem it "dangerous" is incredibly naive.

"donorcycles" in the medical community... way better ways to get a rush.

If money isn't a huge issue I have one answer for you. Flying. Learn to fly an airplane. It'll cost you about 6g over the course of 6 months to get your private pilots license. I can promise you, there is only one thing as exciting as landing a HB10, and that's flying an airplane all by your lonesome.

If you live by the sea, try sailing. Local groups are always looking for more, and if you happen to live near some real yacht clubs it's easy to answer wanted ads for crew positions.

If you don't live near the water, maybe mountain biking. There's a lot of potential terrain in Midwestern and central areas, and it can be a great rush.

look at things your already good at...youd be surprised how good you are at alot of things...

now...dont be the one to bring them up conversation...i made that mistake all through highschool...

without being obvious...let her catch you doing what you do best...

whenever im with my friends i start singing up a song...theyll beatbox or do a rythm line while i take the melody...this always puts me in alpha position and girls always give me looks when it happens

Stay strong with photography. Keep your work posted around your place so when you have a lady friend over you can show her your work and that more creative, open minded sensitive side. Join a club sport. I play lacrosse and when a girl sees the lacrosse stick they ask about it and it is cute to try and play catch with a girl. Motorcycles to me are one of those extreme hobbies that i would like to do but I don't like instantly being put in a category like that. Get out of the house. The only video games I play are on my Sega Genisis and thats only when I am in a short wait for something. Plus every now and then a girl is amazed I have The Lion King cause "that was the one game I would play" story. other than that really short chat (branch off into silly childhood stories) there is really no good way to talk about video games with girls so don't even make that a highlight. Get outside and get tan. Conversation ADD, paintball is awesome get into it.

I think no hobby is boring per se. If you do want to use them to pick-up however you should always consider what the other person knows about them.

As an example: someone mentioned skydiving, true at first it sounds really exciting but if you start explaining to a girl you just met, how the exact details with wind speeds etc work, she will get bored because she has nothing to say about it as she probably doesn t know anything about it.

Basically what I m saying is any hobby can be exciting as long as you leave the conversations on a level where people who don't know anything about it can still participate.

Hut

go for the motorcycle, but if you have never ridden take a beginners ridding course, and stick to something small. if you go with a sport bike stick with a 600 they still go fucking fast but you can control it a lot better. also try joining co-ed sports leagues like slow pitch softball or volleyball, just don't be too competitive.

I think motorcycle is great- it's exciting and adds value. Going to the gym is a good one too- you don't have to do something intellectually fascinating to DV, and most attractive women work out.
Why not also learn a bit of cooking or mixology? Even if it's not your thing it's a good skill to know. Cooking a girl a meal or fixing her a well-crafted drink is a great reason to get her to your house, and we find this stuff very impressive.
The photography is a good one, too, though. You have no idea how many artist friends of mine get girls to pose for them by appealing to their vanity. For some reason it works especially well with goth chicks.
