My wing Talent and I threw a Pajama party last Friday and it went amazing. (nothing breaks the ice like having everyone already in relaxed non pressured clothes ) Slight lack of targets but we dealt with what we had. My primary showed up so I was set for the night. UNTIL! Another potential suitor who is stuck with mad oneitis for MY target showed up (uninvited). So needless to say he's watching my every move and I was gonna have to run some "A" game. He acted fine towards me but started texting her that he was reading my body language and my responses to her indicated i was trying to pick her up so he left because she had been flirting back (i had her locked in) and he was about to call me out. He works as a loss prevention manager and is paid to watch people react so he read me like a book. she didn't buy it and I stayed on her side DHVing him like crazy over this situation that had her now upset with him and more into me. With the value demonstrated I had my kino in check and we instantly went from cuddling through a movie to making out till 5 a.m to which she replies after MANY times of saying she had to leave but wouldn't stop kissing me "So we just did what i wasn't supposed to didn't we?" i reassured her it was never planned and she was again right there with me. So all in all i think i won that battle.
The question is How do you outsmart someone who reads people for a living? even getting him on my side didn't help.

Why do you care that he was watching you? He's not her boyfriend.. He doesn't matter. I don't understand your concern here.

you have to be aware of your surrounding. especially if someone thinks they're onto you. if i just ignored hm and didn't try to control the situation with her it could've spiraled into a fight or losing my target. all because i had kept gaming and ignored my potential problem. i had to make sure she was on my side and actually listening to his bullshit. so i toned it down for a while and made the entire situation a joke at his expense and it worked like a charm

While this guy may have had some skill at reading you, as you told it, he was still seriously AFC, and unable to do anything with his skill at reading you but make an ass out of himself with it. I'd say it was well played, but it sounds like if this happens again the most important thing is to stick to your guns even if he does call you out. ex "yeah I do like her" or something along those lines. Remember you're better at this than him, act that way rather than stooping to his silly game and she'll notice it too.

You're right though SHE did notice. It worked perfectly. if he caught on so what she was reined in to me so whatever he thought he knew didn't matter she was already on my arm. all he did was get pissy like junior high or something and drove off in a huff so to the victor went the spoils. lol
